The veteran bikemaker has also stated that they have multiple EV projects currently in the works, but the first one will likely be an urban motorcycle built on a whole new platform.

That said, the e-bike is likely to feature performance equivalent to a 250-300cc ICE motorcycle in order to extract a modest range from a reasonably sized battery pack. This is because more performance and long range demand more batteries, resulting in more weight.
