Hero Electric Scooter's Launch Date Revealed

This will be the first electric scooter from the Splendor maker and the first product to be launched under the Vida sub-brand

Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to finally launch its first electric scooter under its sub-brand ‘Vida’ on October 7.
This scooter was first slated to be launched in India in March 2022, however it was then postponed to July 2022. Hero MotoCorp had then stated that it would launch the e-scoot during this year’s festive season.
This upcoming Hero electric scooter is slated to feature a minimalistic and fresh design, without taking any inspiration from the company's existing ICE scooters.
This e-scooter is expected to have a split seat setup with two under-seat compartments – one for the removable battery pack, and the other for storage – similar to Gogoro’s e-scooters. It will be the first electric product to emerge out of the Vida sub-brand, which will focus purely on electric mobility solutions.

Once launched, this Hero electric scooter will rival the Ola S1, Ather 450 Plus, TVS iQube and the Bajaj Chetak. Expect Vida to set an aggressive price tag of approximately around the Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom) mark, for the upcoming e-scooter.
