The Jaguar I-Pace is set to be launched in India on March 9. Pre-launch bookings are already underway; you can reserve yours at the nearest Jaguar dealership. It’ll be offered in three variants (S, SE, and HSE) and 12 exterior hues.

The Jaguar I-Pace is going to be India’s second luxury electric vehicle after the Mercedes-Benz EQC. However, unlike the Mercedes, the I-Pace has one big advantage, that is a robust charging system, thanks to Jaguar’s tie-up with Tata Power. One can charge the I-Pace at Tata Power’s 200-plus points across 23 cities. It’ll also provide the 7.4kW wall box charger for charging the I-Pace at your home.
However, the Jaguar EV lags behind the EQC is in the powertrain department. It develops 400PS of power and 696Nm of torque, which is 8PS and 64Nm less than that of the Merc. However, it has a larger battery pack, and therefore, the increased WLTP-claimed (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) range. Here is the detailed specification of both the models:
