Suzuki has shared more images of the 2024 Swift ahead of its launch in April 2024. The hatchback is expected to launch in India in the coming months, as recent spy shots suggest. In this report, we give you a deep dive into the UK-spec 2024 Swift in 8 images.

Up front, the UK-spec 2024 Swift features a sharper front end with redesigned grille, new headlights and inverted C-shaped LED DRL signature. Overall, the front end of the 2024 Swift looks wider than the current Swift sold on our shores.

Moving onto the profile, a significant change is the presence of conventional door handles for the rear doors, which have been relocated from the C-pillar as seen on the current model. Additionally, the profile highlights sportier five-spoke 16-inch alloy wheels.

The UK-spec Swift features a sporty rear end with an updated bumper and LED taillights, which get the inverted C-shaped signature similar to those on the headlights.

Inside the UK-spec Swift, the dashboard layout is reminiscent of the Fronx/Grand Vitara. That said, it gets a new black and white theme, presenting a sporty vibe. This new cabin theme is further accentuated by silver inserts on the dashboard, centre console, and the flat-bottomed steering wheel.

The UK-spec Swift is equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a MID display for the driver with analog dials, cruise control, steering-mounted buttons, connected car tech, push-button start/stop, and automatic AC.

On the safety front, it includes ADAS features like a driver monitoring system and lane departure warning, along with standard safety kit such as multiple airbags, electronic stability control, and ABS with EBD.

The UK-spec Swift is powered by the new 82 PS/ 112 Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine, coupled with a 12 V mild-hybrid system. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and CVT from the Japan-spec model. Additionally, it features an optional all-wheel drive system as well.

Expect the fourth-gen Swift to make its debut in coming months with a slight price increase over the current model, which starts from Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue its rivalry with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Renault Triber and Tata Punch.
