Upcoming Oki90 To Be Manufactured At Okinawa’s New Sprawling Facility

The new manufacturing plant has an annual production capacity of up to 3 lakh units
Okinawa Autotech has announced that it has commenced operations at a new plant in Bhiwadi, Rajasthan. The new manufacturing facility will primarily focus on upcoming products, including the upcoming e-scooter called the Oki90 that has been spotted testing.
The company claims that the new facility will have an annual capacity of almost 3 lakh units, which will be eventually increased to 10 lakh over the next two to three years. This is five times the capacity of the current plant in Alwar, Rajasthan.

Interestingly, Okinawa is not just aiming to cater to the domestic market but also to expand to foreign countries. And to that end, the EV maker is investing close to Rs 250 crore to develop its facilities and scale up production.
Okinawa currently has seven products ranging from low-speed e-scooters to B2C offerings. The company has close to 400 dealerships across the country and has now opened two flagship ‘Okinawa Galaxy Stores’ in Dehradun and Jaipur.
