Okinawa’s Premium Okhi 90 Electric Scooter Arrives Tomorrow

Okinawa is one of the most popular e-scooter brands in the country, excelling in low cost mobility solutions. However, the brand is taking a major leap by bringing the Okhi 90, its new flagship capable of taking on the Ather 450X and Ola S1 Pro, tomorrow.

To make this scooter properly premium, Okinawa has created quite an appealing and stylish e-scooter. As seen on the test mule, the sleek and curvy body panels make the scooter seem quite European, masking its Chinese roots quite well. 

Even its powertrain and batteries are quite different from other Okinawa products. The motor is a mid-mounted one, delivering the power to the rear wheel via a belt drive system. The batteries are expected to be the largest on any Okinawa e-scooter and could be removable.
