BREAKING: 2 Simple e-Scooters In The Pipeline

And both of them will be more affordable than the Simple One!

Simple Energy is gearing up for the launch of two new electric scooters in the next quarter, both of which will be priced below the recently-launched One. The One, at Rs 1.45 lakh is definitely not cheap and hence it only makes sense for the brand to introduce more affordable variants of the same.

What Will Be Changed?

For starters, the mid-spec electric scooter could lose the 1.5kWh removable battery pack that’s found on the Simple One, and that should help the brand price it more towards the Rs 1 lakh mark.

The most affordable scooter, meanwhile, could make do with a smaller battery pack altogether, meaning a whole lot less range for it. And in an effort to slash the price further, Simple could even remove some of the features that are found on the Simple One, similar to what Ather did with the 450S. And if Simple is really looking to nail it with the price tag, it could very well be aiming for a sub Rs 1 lakh price tag. That said, what will somewhat hurt Simple are the revised FAME II norms.

Simple will be putting all these speculations to rest by launching both scooters in the next three months anyway. Till then, stay tuned to ZigWheels as we’ll be bringing you to speed with everything that’s happening in the automotive world.
