Simple One Will Finally Make Its Debut Tomorrow highlights

Bengaluru-based Simple Energy is all set to launch its One e-scooter tomorrow. The company’s first product was first showcased in August 2021, but that’s it. Until a few weeks ago, there wasn’t much clarity on the Simple One’s launch date.

In the last two years, the Simple One has undergone a bunch of changes. Compared to what was showcased in 2021, there are a bunch of aesthetic changes, and technical upgrades too. We rode the pre-production model last year and came back impressed.

This e-scooter’s 4.5kW motor belts out a claimed 72Nm and has a top speed of 105kmph. Its 4.8kWh battery claims an impressive 236km IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range.

The Simple One takes on the likes of the Ather 450X and the Ola S1 Pro. It was initially launched at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi, including FAME-II subsidy), but the company may announce a change in pricing.
