Dot One Key Highlights
Price: The Simple Dot One currently gets an introductory price tag of Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru), applies only to those who had pre-booked the Simple One but now want an affordable alternative. The final launch price of the electric scooter will be revealed in January 2024. It is available in six colour options: Namma Red, Brazen Black, Azure Blue, Grace White, BrazenX and LightX.
Features: The Simple Dot One gets all-LED lighting and four riding modes: Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic along with a Reverse mode as well. It comes equipped with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen instrument console and Bluetooth connectivity with full-fledged navigation.
Motor: The Simple Dot One gets a motor with a peak power output of 8.5kW and a continuous power output of 4.5kW. It can accelerate from 0-40kmph in 2.77 seconds and gets a claimed top speed of 105kmph. The electric scooter comes equipped with a 3.7kWh capacity battery and an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) claimed range of 151km. It takes 3 hours and 47 minutes to charge the electric scooter from 0-80% with the Home Charger and with the fast charger, the scooter can be charged from 0-80% at a rate of 1.5km/min. The electric scooter, motor and the battery gets a warranty of 3 years or 30,000km and the charger gets a warranty of 1 year or 10,000km.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The suspension setup on the Simple Dot One consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock while braking duties are taken care of by a 200mm front disc brake with triple-piston caliper and 190mm rear disc brake with single-piston caliper. It gets a seat height of 796mm, wheelbase of 1,335mm, kerb weight of 126kg and a boot space capacity of 35 litres.
