Great Wall Motors-owned Haval has showcased the F5 mid-size SUV in India. It is smaller than the Haval F7 and even the MG Hector, but larger than the Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. In other countries, the F5 is powered by a 168PS and 285Nm 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. If launched in India, the Haval F5 will go up against the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, and the Renault Captur.
A 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine is the sole powerplant on offer in the F5 internationally. It makes 168PS and 285Nm of torque, and is mated with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch.
The F5's long features list includes a panoramic sunroof, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digtal driver's display.
Safety and assistance features include lane-keeping assist, a 360-degree camera, and six airbags.
