Suzuki V-Strom SX Latest Updates
Suzuki has launched the V-Strom 250 SX, a small-capacity ADV that’s based on the Gixxer 250. Read the launch story to find out all the details about the new V-Strom 250 SX.
Suzuki V-Strom SX Price : 200000
Suzuki V-Strom SX Design : The V-Strom 250 SX’s styling resembles that of the bigger V-Stroms as well as Suzuki’s much older, simple ADVs like the DR-BIG. A lean fairing, big windscreen and a sharp beak up front complete the proper ADV look. The V-Strom 250 SX comes in three colours: Pearl Blaze Orange, Champion Yellow No. 2, and Glass Sparkle Black.
Features of Suzuki V-Strom SX : The V-Strom 250 SX borrows its LED headlight and halogen indicators from the Gixxer 250. It gets a completely digital instrument cluster with bluetooth connectivity; turn by turn navigation; alerts like missed calls, overspeeding, and SMS; and phone battery level. The small 12-litre tank too is from the Gixxer 250. Suzuki has increased the length of the subframe so that the rider and the pillion would have more room to move around. A tail rack-cum-grab rail for mounting luggage and a standard USB charger add to the touring credentials of the baby V-Strom 250 SX.
Suzuki V-Strom SX Engine : The V-Strom 250 SX gets the same 249 cc 4-stroke, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, SOHC engine from the Gixxer 250, mated to a 6-speed gearbox and pumping out 26.5PS and 22.2Nm. At 835 mm, its seat height is a considerable 35 mm more than the Gixxer's. Even though the V-Strom 250 SX gets a solid 205mm of ground clearance, a major miss is the tiny 120 mm of suspension travel at the front. It has 19-inch and 17-inch tyres slapped at the front and rear respectively. The braking duties have been allotted to discs at both ends.
Suzuki V-Strom SX Rivals : The V-Strom 250 SX’s chief rivals are the Royal Enfield Himalayan, Yezdi Adventure and the KTM 250 Adventure.

Ones which are specially built bikes have always amazed me and specially Suzuki V-Strom SX. Looking at the features and specialities this bike offers, I decided to buy this vehicle last year. It was available for an affordable price in exchange of a lot of modern features. The mileage is good as provided, clean and good ground clearance and powerful engine that it comes with. My favourite feature is the smooth and comfortable ventures with this vehicle. I would definitely put this on recommendation list for others. The colour ranges are aesthetic and many sets of variants are also available.

5.0Proud owner
I am a proud owner of vstrom 250.I’ve writing after 11k km of bike usage.Looks are subjective but i love the way it looks. Not to underestimate its 250 cc engine.I never felt it’s under powered in almost all conditions. Can have a comfortable 100-110 cruising speed. It gave me a mileage of approximately 32 if i am at 110 in highways but also got 48 average in mountains.Extremely comfortable for long ride without any accessories.Rode from kaza to delhi non stop via shimla.Only felt strain on wrist to hold on acceleration and left fingers due constant change of gear in the mountains. But it could also be because of the cold.I am surprised why it’s not sold as much.Don’t go by its cc.Take a test ride and decide.Bikes are unique. It’s not one fit for all.It the right one for your personality.I wish they come up with a 400-500 cc adventure bike. Please hear us suzuki.

3.4Bit higher
I drove the suzuki v-strom sx 250 a couple of weeks ago.Initially i didn't like the front look.It looks completely weird.Although the sides look amazing. When i rode it, I felt like it's not worth buying. The suspension is on the stiffer side.By the look it says that it is is an adventure tourer but we don't even feel like we are riding an bike. The suspension is a bit on the stiffer side.It is like riding a scooty.I'm 5"4 inch height and i couldn't flat foot my both the feet. The seat is a bit higher.Being 250 cc engine the price could be little lower because royal enfield offers an adventure bike called himalyan around 2.6 lakhs with a bigger engine (400 cc) than the v strom.
