Recently Asked User Questions
- I own a 310 GS and I would not give KTM 390 even a thought! 1. The comfort of riding the 310GS is incomparable. 2. It looks far more premium than the 390. Even if you hide the logo and put both bikes side by side you will notice the difference. 3. It gives me a rather 'bold and confidant' personality rather than the 'always ready to race' stigma attached to the KTM. 4. Oh I'm an engineer and understand speed, power, torque, time, space and gravity very well, but please don't start off with numbers again...
- Good question but only if seen thru the lens of price and power. The baby GS offer much more in terms of its offroading ability. Were the KTM 390 available in an ADV avatar, the baby GS would have stood no chance.
- When I buying 310gs, there was no other adventure tourer bikes on that price range except RE Himalayan & Hero Xpulse. I owned a RE motorcycle before, so I was not ready to buy an RE motor cycle again. Xpulse was too small to long rides. If my purchase was in nowadays I will definitely go for KTM 390 Adventure
- Both BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS are good bikes, however, selecting between the two would depend on your preference of the segment. If you are looking for a powerful and premium street naked bike that is absolutely a hoot to ride thanks to its great handling dynamics and offers decently punchy motor and incredible ride quality. However, it lags behind its competition when it comes to features, and the vibes really hold it back from being ridden at speeds that the engine can easily do. On the other hand, the G 310 GS offers comfortable upright ergos for touring, lighter weight, and would be a brilliant option if you are looking for a bike with off-roading capabilities. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Comparatively in off-roading there are chances for damaging your bike. in which spare parts are cheaper in himalayan. for GS its going to dig your pocket for parts. but you can god dam relay on it.
- Completely agree Himalayan is the bike to go for now own it for 2+ years but after 16 bikes I have found I feel.this is been the best for everything you need. Fantastic piece of work.

G 310 GSventures await for you
The BMW G 310 GS is an undaunting bike model that comes along with uncountable features inbuilt. The bold yet beautiful look from the outside turns heads when it crosses the roads in style. The interior is quite functional very smooth and well-equipped for its passenger and driver. There are various ventures that is offered by this bike and it has fulfilled so many of my trips. My drives have been full of pleasures with this model. Perfectly suited for daily commute purposes, this bike is quite cost-effective.

G 310 GS3.8Catching motorcycle
This is undoubtedly an eye-catching motorcycle. You'll often notice people turning their heads. It is also very comfortable and has "excellent" braking capability. Never seen a bike with such terrific braking performance. However, It does not seem to be very reliable. On the first day of delivery, The bike stopped after 5 km and we had to tow it back to the garage. The next day the starter motor was changed and it was fixed. Point to be noted, The motor of a brand new bike had to be changed in just one day. Ok fine, Let me take that as a technical exception and not be judgmental about that. After all, it's a machine and perhaps bad luck. But no, It doesn't end there. Over the next one month, The bike again stopped several times in the middle of the road due to two reasons: 1. Overheating 2. Taking the clutch and releasing the accelerator. Now, Every now or then I would see the engine temperature reaching over 100c even when riding at 40-50km/hr. When I called service people they said 100c is very normal because 105c is the limit. Just 5c below the limit every now and then doesn't seem normal to me. One fine day the bike stopped in the middle of the road and refused to start because the temperature reached over 105. Though it eventually did start after 20 minutes, But hey. What the hell? it's not a 200hp bike that heat management is so difficult. Apart from this, The bike has stopped several times when I applied the full clutch and released the accelerator. In fact, riding this bike was like a luck game. I hope it doesn't stop! another thing is that this bike has a very very bad low rpm power delivery. It is useless to drive the bike below 4000rpm. At low revs, One wrong gear or a slight quick release of clutch and the engine begins to knock out. This makes low speed driving a very bad experience. Not just me but several people who have tried my bike have ended with a sudden engine turn off because of bad low rev power delivery. The bike though becomes fun after 4k rpm but it's pain below that. Also, the power delivery is highly non-linear. It comes in bursts after 4k and again somewhere after 6k. After the first service of the bike after 1000km, the heating issue was solved and switching off when taking clutch also reduced significantly. One more thing I think could be better is the speed. With my brother sitting at the back, Which is mostly the case, The bike struggles reaching 120km/hr.I don't mean it can't reach more than 120, But the time it would take to cross this speed will require an impractical stretch of free road. So for all practical purposes, We can find it reaching 80 to 90 easily on the Delhi ring road with moderate traffic. Just wish it could be 120 or so with ease instead of 90. To sum up1. Stunning looks and somehow the brand value (really?) adds to it.2.Very comfortable, Glides through rough roads.3.Very good breaking performance.4.Very bad low rpm power delivery5.Speed slightly lower than expectations. Why 4 stars even after all this? well, I think the overall ownership makes me feel a 4-star satisfaction. It's not only the engine you see when we talk of how you feel about owning a particular bike. A million-dollar question would be, If you removed the brand value would I still rate this 4 stars? honest answer, No. I would rate it 3.5 stars. So the extra 0.5 stars just for the ego boost of owning a BMW? perhaps yes. Would I recommend this bike? yes, I will, There's perhaps no competition to it in terms of comfort and appearance. Given the option of a 100% refund, Will I buy a different bike? well no. Out of the box, But I decided on this bike over the ninja 650 which I was initially planning. No it was not the price, It was the feel. Even today I will not swap this with a 650. Just for information a few quick facts: it cost me 3, 50, 000 on road in Delhi with the blue and red colour option which was around 7k extra. I ride in the city and the mileage is 25km/once I broke the clutch lever and it cost over 3k to have it replaced. The first service cost over 7k.

G 310 GS4.6Long rides
The bmw gs 310 is an excellent bike! very confortable for long rides and it can take you to places difficult to reach, Its torque will surprise you! very stylish so it steals sights of people when they see it! you can ride it for over 280 km and depending on your driving style, The full tank may last over 300 km.Very economic and a very suitable bike for adventures and for the city.We know bmw is not a cheap brand of motorcycle so it´s good to analize first if you will give the maintenance it needs. However, The 2020 model of the 310 gs corrected few issues with previous models and for you to go to the mechanic with this bike, It will take a while. The abs is simple great! the feature to disconnect it whenever you want will give you plenty of fun! the only con i see on this bike besides the maintenance cost is that, You would be likely to upgrade it to a 650 gs or to a f750 gs in a very short period of time! in general, This bike gives a lot of fun and security when you ride it.If you are thinking on getting one go and buy it! it will give you a good gs riding experience!.

G 310 GS3.8I have been an owner of the
I have been an owner of the gs310 from 2019.I am very happy with the performance of the the.The 313cc engine doesn’t fail to surprise us.The g310gs can be a synonym to the word “refined”.The engine is well refined and smooth. The seating position and the seat itself is a bliss. The gel padded seat gives us a support throughout the ride amd can cruise casually for kilometers and kilometers. The headlight is a bit shaky. The rear view mirrors give a fantastic view and covers almost everything. The build of the vehicle is top notch and beautiful. It demands the road presence. The machine is a beast while off-roading.Climbs any rocky hill. The one thing that is turn off is the maintenance cost.It averages around 8-10k per normal service and 20k for major service.I personally think that it’s too much for a bike.I get an avg mileage of 32km/l, Which i don’t think is so bad.It is pretty generous for a 310 cc bike. There are lots aftermarket accessories in the market these day.If you are really looking for a off roading cruiser then this is the best available option for you.

Ones which are specially built bikes have always amazed me and specially Suzuki V-Strom SX. Looking at the features and specialities this bike offers, I decided to buy this vehicle last year. My favourite feature is the smooth and comfortable ventures with this vehicle. I would definitely put this on recommendation list for others. The colour ranges are aesthetic and many sets of variants are also available.

V-Strom SX5.0Proud owner
I am a proud owner of vstrom 250.I’ve writing after 11k km of bike usage.Looks are subjective but i love the way it looks. Not to underestimate its 250 cc engine.I never felt it’s under powered in almost all conditions. Can have a comfortable 100-110 cruising speed. It gave me a mileage of approximately 32 if i am at 110 in highways but also got 48 average in mountains.Extremely comfortable for long ride without any accessories.Rode from kaza to delhi non stop via shimla.Only felt strain on wrist to hold on acceleration and left fingers due constant change of gear in the mountains. But it could also be because of the cold.I am surprised why it’s not sold as much.Don’t go by its cc.Take a test ride and decide.Bikes are unique. It’s not one fit for all.It the right one for your personality.I wish they come up with a 400-500 cc adventure bike. Please hear us suzuki.

V-Strom SX3.4Bit higher
I drove the suzuki v-strom sx 250 a couple of weeks ago.Initially i didn't like the front look.It looks completely weird.Although the sides look amazing. When i rode it, I felt like it's not worth buying. The suspension is on the stiffer side.By the look it says that it is is an adventure tourer but we don't even feel like we are riding an bike. The suspension is a bit on the stiffer side.It is like riding a scooty.I'm 5"4 inch height and i couldn't flat foot my both the feet. The seat is a bit higher.Being 250 cc engine the price could be little lower because royal enfield offers an adventure bike called himalyan around 2.6 lakhs with a bigger engine (400 cc) than the v strom.
