The luxury carmaker has released a teaser image of its autonomous driving concept set to make its debut at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show next week
Mercedes-Benz has always been innovative in the world of automobiles. The luxury carmaker has dropped a dark teaser image of its autonomous new driving concept that will make its first public debut at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
The concept sports a highly aerodynamic design and a low roofline. It receives extremely short overhangs on the front and rear end. The teaser image reveals a discreet bulge on the rear portion of the concept which will most likely carry a variety of sensors and cameras to scope out the road ahead.
On the inside, use of premium materials including a wooden floor and possibly a central table is expected. The autonomous driving concept will likely have a large dashboard equipped with a massive full-length infotainment system packing several touchscreen displays.
The luxury carmaker has remained tight-lipped on the tech specs of this forthcoming new concept car. But, we expect this vehicle to come equipped with an eco-friendly powertrain under the hood.
Mercedes-Benz has announced that this new concept car will be unveiled by Daimler Chairman, Dr Dieter Zetsche at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas on January 5.
