UPDATE: Mahindra has launched the XUV 3XO from Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra is all set to take the wraps off the XUV300 facelift, which will now be called the ‘XUV 3XO,’ on April 29, 2024. Teasers of the upcoming model are now starting to come in, giving us a proper clue at the design changes Mahindra has made to the SUV. And by the looks of it, the XUV 3XO will get a thorough overhaul to keep things fresh and up to date.
Here are three new design details it will get over the pre-facelift XUV300:

The Mahindra XUV 3XO will get a brand new fascia with a gloss black grille that will replace the slatted one seen on the pre-facelift model. The new grille will be flanked by a pair of redesigned projector headlights (likely to be LEDs) that take its design inspiration from the XUV700. Lastly, a revised bumper is expected to keep things new and fresh.

Even the rear will be heavily revised as the XUV 3XO will get a new tailgate with a connected LED tail lamp setup, a first for a Mahindra car. Right below that, you can find a bold ‘XUV 3XO’ badge and the number plate housing will be located on the bumper.

One of the much-needed updates for the Mahindra XUV300 was its cabin and Mahindra has addressed that with the XUV 3XO. The facelifted SUV will borrow its dashboard from the updated XUV400 with a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and other new features. In fact, a teaser from Mahindra has confirmed the presence of a panoramic sunroof, which will be the first in its segment.

To know the other features the Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to come packing with, head to this report. Considering the updates, one can expect it to be priced over the outgoing XUV300, which currently starts from Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom). It will renew its rivalry with the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, Tata Nexon and Renault Kiger.
