Ather Rizta Electric Scooter Battery Teased And Drop-tested In A Video

Ather Energy has been teasing the upcoming Ather Rizta in unique ways, be it a collab with the Great Khali or big billboards featuring the electric scooter’s massive seat. Now, Ather has teased and drop-tested Rizta’s battery in their latest video.

In the video, Ather’s engineer Shreyas Seethapathy explains that Ather batteries are built using high-pressure die-cast aluminium that helps to achieve high durability that can withstand direct impacts that you may face on the road.

The teaser starts with Shreyas operating a crane. Then, we see a man bringing the battery pack which is then elevated using the same crane. After reaching a height of 40 feet, which is similar to a four-storey building, the man drops the battery pack. But the battery pack stays intact even after being dropped from the height. In the end, Shreyas mentions that it is the same battery that the upcoming Rizta will feature.

Shreyas always comes up with unique ideas to test the battery's durability. Earlier, he was spotted in another video from Ather, where he could be seen baking the battery in an oven, and enjoying ice cream while sitting on top of it.

A few days back, Ather teased a smart accessory named ‘Halo’, which we think will be a smart helmet that will be available with the upcoming Rizta. Ather’s CEO and co-founder have also revealed the Rizta’s new features. Check out the story here.
