Unlike most of the 650cc bikes out there, the 650DSX is powered by a single-cylinder motor
Chinese two-wheeler brand Voge has unveiled the 650DSX, its largest ADV offering, in the European market. It’s the latest model in Voge’s ADV bike portfolio after the 300DS and the recently launched 500DS.
The 650DSX uses a rather unusual engine setup -- a 650cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor. It pumps out 47PS and 60Nm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The cycle parts include a 53mm USD fork and a monoshock from KYB whereas the braking is done by 298mm dual front discs and a 240mm disc at the rear wheel. Switchable dual-channel ABS is standard.

The Voge 650DSX isn’t at all lacking in the features department, sporting a TFT display with tyre pressure monitoring system and Bluetooth connectivity, LED lights, an adjustable windshield and acres of storage with the standard top box and panniers.
Retailing at Rs 7.27 lakh (price in Europe, excluding Indian taxes), the Voge 500DSX will be available in three colours: Red, Blue and Black. Its chances of entering the Indian market are bleak. However, for a similar budget, you can also opt for the Kawasaki Versys 650 in India. If that doesn’t catch your fancy, check out the Honda CB500X that we reviewed during its official launch.
