Okinawa Scooters showcased two new products at the Auto Expo 2018 today - the OKI 100 prototype and the updated Ridge scooter. The OKI 100 motorcycle will be introduced by the end of this year, while the new Okinawa Ridge will come in by March 2018.

In terms of design, the OKI 100 resembles the Ducati Monster 797 with a bublbous fuel tank and the single-saddle seat. This masculine look helps give the motorcycle a naked streetfighter look. Its features include LED headlamps and taillights and an all-digital instrument console.

The OKI 100 is powered by a 72V 63Ah lithium-ion battery. According to the company, it can reach a top speed of 100kmph. Its central belt driven motor produces 3.3PS of power. The company claims that the prototype has a range of 150km on a single charge, which takes two hours to complete.

Okinawa also displayed the updated Ridge electric scooter with a swappable lithium-ion battery. This allows the Ridge to reach a top speed of 55kmph with a power output of 1.08PS. Some of its features include a digital instrument cluster, remote alarm system and multiple riding modes. We expect the lithium-ion battery-powered Okinawa Ridge to be priced around Rs 55,000 (ex-showroom).
