There’s very little to hold against Kia’s Sonet. It could do with more cabin width to seat five better. An aspect where not just the Sonet but Kia themselves as a manufacturer needs to prove their long term reliability and dependability. The Sonet is ticking all the right boxes otherwise. It’s delivering on the wow factor with pukka mini-SUV looks, quality interiors and a feature list that’d make you question paying a premium for larger SUVs. It’s being sensible and practical too, with loads of cubby holes and a large boot. You get proper automatics, and the engines on offer cover a wide range of usage. If we talk about Hyundai Venue, it shares a lot with Sonet, features and powertrain. Over Sonet, Venue would be more comfortable for rear passangers and it has an advantage of wide service network oh Hyundai. Over Venue, Sonet offers better looks and ride quality. The Tata Nexon, with the facelift, has become an even stronger contender. With the revised looks, more powerful engine and added features, it surely needs to be on the top of your consideration list. If you safety is for priority and want a spacious car especially for rear passangers. You may go for Tata Nexon. You may compare all these cars accordingly. Go for any other brand than Tata because they still have plenty of quality issues . You pay 12 lakhs and they give you a substandard product that too in the name of safety. The nexon is safe but neither it is refined nor it is built to last. My 10 months old nexon started rusting in all 4 door panels . Also other issues like oil leaks , faulty fan etc . Stay away from Tata. It's all about online hype
