Recently Asked User Questions

Q. I am planning to buy the XPulse 200. I am confused between carburetor and FI- which one would be easier to maintain in the long run? Also, I have read reports of the rust issue of the wheel and rim, has this been resolved?
  • Xpulse carb is more better than fi.but you want more refinement and mileage go for xpulse fi.both segment make for long riding distance. after a long time rust issues but it's can be resolved.
  • For better mileage go for Fi, for less maintenance go for carb edition, rusting issue is not seen on every bike, even though if you face the issue the hero moto corp is replacing the rusted parts with new one......
  • Is there any sound comming from engine side in BS6 model
Q. What is the different between Hero Moto Corp XPulse 200 BS4 and BS6
  • There are few differences which all together make the motorcycle feel slightly different while riding. Addition of cat-conThe exhaust pipe placement has been changed to accommodate the cat-con, addition of cat con also results in a slight power drop, this has drastically changed the way the engine performs. Reduced vibes, linear power delivery and better mileage I suppose.Addition of oil cooler. For now this is all that has changed in the bs6 xpulse. If you have ridden the bs4 motorcycle you’ll definitely feel the difference in the engine performance.
  • The major change your n BS6 variant is now this bike comes with oil cooled engine at place of air cool engine is BS4. I have BS4 variant and I feel the hot engine without oil cool engine. Can Hero add oil cooler to my BS4 xpulse 200.
  • Difference between BS-IV and BS-VI fuel and vehicles primarily is the significant lower content of sulphur. The sulphur content on both petrol and diesel will come down to 10ppm in BS-VI fuel as compared to 50 ppm in BS-IV fuel

    Unleashing Adventure

My friend’s bike is Hero XPulse 200 4V and it turns adventures into an art form by balancing off-road performance with smooth road riding. Its 200cc engine, both on- and off-road, offers the much-needed power and performance while the long-travel suspension ensures comfortable riding on varied terrain. The bike is lightweight and has balanced handling, it's equally adequate for urban streets or off-road trails. In general, an aggressive tread pattern could have been a contributed factor for better off-road performance. In general, the XPulse 200 4V kindles the curiosity of exploration and brings excitement even for the rookie.

    Very great managable bike

The suspension of this bike is very well tuned and the mileage got easily 30 to 35 kmpl depending upon the ride. The suspension is adjustable with the soft, comfortable and stiffer side which is incredible and for off roading it is very nice and comfortable. This bike is so damn manageable and so the initial pickup is very nice and there and you can take this bike to whenever you want and so its very easy to use. If you want to go off roading and any others so it is a very enjoyable bike.

    Very quicker bike

In the city the feels a lot better and is a really nice bike to ride in the traffic and overall it has a really nice engine to use but give heating issue. The clutch feel is good and is a quicker bike than expected and the way the power it deliver is really fantastic. It sounds really great and is a fun to ride bike and after testing the city mileage is around 26 to 28 and the highway mileage is around 31 to 32 kmpl which is good for that power and high engine.
