• Q. I want to gift my husband either KTM 390 Duke or Royal Enfield Interceptor 650? I am confused which one should I go for? He is looking for a bike for weekend rides and comfy sitting position. He is 6ft tall. Please suggest.

@ Rahul | Im currently using RE Electra 350 cc , I have rode around 1500 Kms on my recent trip, I felt this isn’t a perfect bike for touring because of the breaking capability and vibration effect after 60 Speed. So I personally looking for Interceptor 650 is that a good decision??

INT 650 is least vibration bike in RE stable but not zero vibration bike. Good for touring with altered seat. But wait for couple months so RE has to sort out , Value noise & Clattering noise in INT 650. The front suspension & T-Steam is not strong enough for that bike.Pl wait for the updated version. RE might recall INT 650 for a massive part change campaign.

KTM 390 may not be the right choice because for it's a 379.9 CC sport bike. It's power is high and would not be comfortable for two passengers.interceptor 650 will be the right choice.. Because it's bit heavy and not so naked as KTM390.so it's power can be controlled by the rider. Also it provides more mileage than KTM 390.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is good one for single rider . Pillion rider will be uncomfortable because on it elevated foot pegs. My suggestion Himalayan is good choice. KTM Duke is different segment who needs more speed. it is not for pleasant riding.Pl do test ride together intensively INT 650 & Himalayan to conclude.
