• Q. Hello all, I am facing issue with Engine Malfunction lamp it doesn't goes off while riding. I checked with RE Service center, they made some adjustments with gear sensor switch, it sometimes goes off, but again re appears. They have told it will not effect the engine performance or cause any issue with electronics, they will change the sensors and check. Anyone with similar problem with Interceptor 650 any suggestions?

Could be possibly the fault with the gear sensor switch if that is actually causing it.Have it replaced to find out if the engine malfunction lamp still illuminates.Hope this helps! Happy riding!

Put the motorcycle on center stand, turn on the vehicle and engage the gear for few seconds. It should resolve your issue.

  • I have been riding the interceptor

I have been riding the interceptor since 2+ years now. It's an awesome bike with the power that is enough for a new bee to cruise or to overtake any vehicles you want to on the highways.2 things that i dislike are the frequency of disk pads change and the less mileage it offers.

One of the best bike to travel

One of the best bike to travel couple with luggage, Low end torque is a boon at mid rpm as one can effortlessly cruise in higher gear or climb ghats a gear higher without much fight. Its a forgiving bike on the throttle as the power is linear and gradual. If to nitpick, Tube type tyre is a pain if its punctured rsa is the only saviour during those times. And softer front suspension needs constant adjustment when cornering. But as a bike man it can munch miles making travel ever enjoyable.Happy riding riders.Cheers.
