Yes, it is. Highly reliable! Just keep it well serviced.Don't compare it with the other RE models. You can feel the Quality difference between those and the 650 twins. This bike comes with a bare minimum tech and reduces the complications associated with it making your life lot easier than running around the service centers for tech related issues as that can't be fixed in your parking. Also please avoid achieving top speed targets on this bike, this bike is not meant for top speeding like the Kawasaki or the KTMs. Its a practical bike and its range would be till 140 kmph, ofcourse it goes beyond that easily, but it's not it's comfort area and you would lose the torquey nature of the engine there. Also that will affect your mileage! And in the long run as well!It is as easy as to say you take care of your 650 and the bike would take care of you as well! And this bike won't age early and will continue to last for years unlike the sports competitors that age in 3-4 years and make you urge for a new motorcycle.Technology would always get old and would need an update every now and then. But a classic would always remain a classic and would indulge you to feel the ride. Now you decide for yourself.

I bought this bike 2 months back. Since then I am fixing one thing or the other. It has stayed dead or in service center for half of the time. I should have bought a Honda. If you want a reliable bike Royal Enfield is the last brand you should look at. Battery Issue (charged it twice then bought a new Exide battery from company then that also died), twichy throttle response, clicking noise from rear shocker, problem with instrument cluster, turning off on high rpm. But I am happy to say this bike is the only problem in my life.

No, it is not reliable especially after it is three years old due to poor electricals and RE’s poor tech know how and application. I was in Leh Ladakh trip but couldn’t complete it despite taking the bike to service centres at Jalandhar, Udhampur and Leh. I lost three batteries in the trip (all overheated and short). MIL light and abs light keeps lighting up. Half of the trip My bike was on the back of pick up truck and now it is in a truck bound for Delhi, totally dead. Serious issue with wiring and sensors but RE has no answer to it. So guys buy an interceptor but don’t take it to remote areas please.

  • good experience and good comfort

Showcased with many uncountable benefits, the royal enfield interceptor 650 is a cool and amazing model. It has distinguishing features and functions that makes it stand apart from the other ktm models. It is a tad bit expensive but its worth the quality and features that it comes with. The ground clearance is good. The mileage is good and the powerful engine provides a good amount of cc. I would definitely recommend this bike.

  • Heavy duty bike

Royal Enfield interceptor 650 comes with a classy old school design and good build quality. it has a 650 cc engine which is much powerful than other bikes in this segment which gives decent mileage of 25-30 kmpl. the fit and finishing is perfect and the sitting posture is comfortable. body weight is little bit heavy which makes it difficult to handle at low speed. overall beside the pricing and body weight I am satisfied with this bike

I have a royal enfield interceptor

I have a royal enfield interceptor 650 which was purchased in 2020.The bike is serviced always at the royal enfield service centre at t junction. The advisor vishal madaye is always the best person to have your vehicle checked by.He will just on looking at the vehicle and hearing it for few minutes let you know what is needed to be done and provided the best solutions on how it can be done cheaper. He is a very friendly person and takes care of your vehicle like it is his own.Thank you vishal for doing a great job always while handling my interceptor maintenance.I serviced my bike at the royal enfield service centre at t junction and the bike was handed over to technician shivshankar rajak.Since i never leave my bike unattended i waited and watches the service. The bike was going through a full overall service and many parts had to be opened and cleaned.Shivshankar was doing a fantastic job and the way he was servicing the bike was like it was his own. This really touched me and i was very happy with the service.Good job shivshankar rajak.Keep up the good work.

  • Low price high power

My best buy in life Interceptor 650 gives me a better ride quality with good to handle and is the most affordable 650 cc bike in india. With the refined engine the power delivery is exciting and i feel it is better than Continental GT 650 but the features are less. The power and weight is very high of this bike and the mileage is around 25 kmpl but at high speed it feels heavy. The torque is amazing and there is no bike with this level at this price.
