Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Avenger Street 220 BS4
- Both Bajaj Avenger Street 220 and Cruise 220 came with the same powertrain options and underpinnings. While Bajaj has retained the overall silhouette of the original Avenger, they have done well to give both the bikes a unique identity. The Street 220 gets a matte black treatment all around – on the headlight cowl, handlebars, instrumentation on the tank and the exhaust. All the aforementioned parts on the Cruise 220 are brushed in chrome. The matte black finish though looks a lot better finished than the chrome. While the Cruise 220 makes do with spoke wheels, the Street 220 ends up having more presence due to the addition of alloy wheels. Both bikes sport different handlebars too. However, Bajaj is yet to launch the BS6-compliant version of the Avenger Street 220.
- Avenger is good for your height.... Bullet is for healthy strong and heighted persons....if want to ride in city I think I should buy classic 350....both avenger and bullet 350 are best for highway riding
- For now, the Bajaj Avenger Street 220 is not available for sale in the market as Bajaj is yet to launch the BS6-compliant version of the same. - Avenger 220
- As of now, there is no official update available from the brand's end regarding the launch of Avenger 400. The cruiser is most likely to make its debut early next year. On the other hand, the Meteor 350 is here and is all set to make an impact in the cruiser bike segment. Powered by an all-new BS6-compliant 349cc single-cylinder SOHC 2-valve air-cooled engine with counterbalancer, it makes 20.4PS at 6100rpm and a healthy torque of 27Nm at 4000rpm licked to a 5-speed gearbox. Extremely comfortable
Bike is extremely comfortable. You can not compare top speed and pickup of this bike with sports bike as both are of different category.Only problem with this bike is it's chain set which malfunction frequently due to it's long lenth.

4.6Avenger is a model that
Avenger is a model that is best for beginners and it has the comfort and styling to make someone used to riding bikes.I am slightly disappointed that bajaj doesn't give us an avenger with better safety features like dual discs and dual channel abs. Those are really necessary in unpredictable roads of india. When it comes to the engine, Avenger has great low end and mid range performance. It gets quite a bit of vibrations on the foot pegs and the seat at the top end of the rev band.Although it is a 220 cc engine, We can get a good mileage of 35-37 in city if ridden properly and the mileage can go above 40 in the highways. The relaxed seating, Front set foot pegs, Very comfortable seats and the slightly raised handlebars make it one of the best motorcycles to sit on.The street model is easier to move through the traffic than the cruise model but it is still not the most flickable bike because of its very long wheelbase.Brakes on the bs4 model have a single disc at the front and get no abs. This causes the braking to lack bite. The downside is that if we brake too hard, The wheel locks up very easily and can cause a quick crash.I have myself faced a few unfortunate situations of that sort.Avenger weighs above 150 kgs making it a medium weight motorcycle for a regular ride.It is not too hard to control in traffic or bad roads. It can get quite tricky in the off roads because we cannot stand up on the front set foot pegs. The great ground clearance of 169 mm is a boon in all roads.Overall this is a great bike for amateur riders. One can gradually upgrade to a higher capacity engine motorcycle after riding an avenger for a few years.
