The Bajaj Pulsar 150 and TVS Apache RTR 160 have been battling it out for the hearts and minds of young riders since 2016. And that battle rages on today with the recently updated Apache RTR 160 2V and the all-new Pulsar P150. Both bikes offer a good blend of sportiness and everyday usability. But does the updated, but still rather long in the tooth Apache have what it takes to fight the P150, which is hands down the best Pulsar 150 till date?
Both these bikes take slightly different approaches to wooing the youth, with TVS delivering the more edgy and sharp motorcycle, while Bajaj has built this new Pulsar with a focus on everyday usability, but not completely sacrificing fun in the process. The Apache also brings to the fight a wider plethora of features such as an all LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity as well as three riding modes which change power and torque output and throttle response to suit various riding conditions. The Pulsar on the other hand seems almost basic. But sometimes, going back to the basics is best, right?
