Pulsar F250 Expert's Conclusion

The Pulsar F250 can be a great choice if you want to get a bike that balances sporty looks and comfort together, it has sufficient power for the city as well as highway runs. The Pulsar F250 has a smooth engine and offers a good ride quality.

Bajaj Pulsar F250 Expert Review

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 is the biggest capacity bike yet in the Pulsar lineup. With a sharp semi-faired design, and modern powertrain and mechanicals, it is, in a lot of ways, an upgrade to the Bajaj Pulsar 220F. Let’s find out whether it has the trademark Pulsar magic:

Design

The Pulsar F250 looks very sporty with its half-fairing and modern styling. The angular headlight cowl flows well into the half fairing and fuel tank. The boomerang-shaped LED adds to the sporty appearance, and the wide mirrors are practical. The slim tail section and split seats provide an appealing look, though some may find the stubby exhaust less attractive.

Engine, Mileage, and Performance

The Bajaj Pulsar F250 is powered by a 249.07cc air-/oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 24.5PS and 21.5Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. Bajaj claims the Pulsar F250 delivers a mileage of 39kmpl. Despite a less sophisticated engine, it matches the Pulsar NS200 in power and boasts the highest torque in the Pulsar range. The Pulsar F250 impresses with its strong acceleration and a top speed of 135kmph.

The Pulsar F250 glides through city traffic in third or fourth gear effortlessly. The clutch is light, making filtering through traffic an easy task. The gearing is well-spaced so that you don’t really miss the sixth gear on the highways. While the gear shifts are smooth, sometimes it’s a little rough when shifting to third. Overall, for a Bajaj motorcycle, the engine refinement is great, with only slight vibes on the handlebars, footpegs, and seat at higher speeds.

Handling and Ride Quality

The Pulsar F250 handles well, but its agility could be improved with a slightly lower kerb weight. The bike comfortably absorbs bumps and provides good ride quality, one of the best in the Pulsar range. The brakes are effective, providing good bite and lever feedback, which is further enhanced by the dual-channel ABS for added safety.

Comfort

The Pulsar F250 offers a sporty yet comfortable riding posture because it features a raised clip-on handlebar and slightly rear-set footpegs. The overall riding stance is similar to the Pulsar 220F, but the Pulsar F250 provides better space around the fuel tank, not to mention a spacious seat. The slightly tall windscreen offers decent wind protection on highways.

Features

The Pulsar F250 comes equipped with all-LED lighting, including a projector headlight and an LED tail light, and features a semi-digital instrument cluster with a gear position indicator, real-time mileage, and range indicator. The console is easy to read and also looks presentable. The F250 has a USB charging port and backlit switchgear, which is easy to use at night. However, it lacks smartphone connectivity or turn-by-turn navigation, which is available even on some 125cc scooters nowadays.

Should You Buy the Bajaj Pulsar F250?

If you are looking for a versatile and sporty motorcycle suitable for your daily commute and weekend rides, the Bajaj Pulsar F250 can be a solid choice. However, if half-faired bikes aren't your thing, then you can check out its naked sibling, the Pulsar N250.

Iconic Performance Bike

In terms of my everyday commute, the Bajaj Pulsar F250 has been revolutionary. Its strong build and potent 250cc engine guarantee that I never have to worry about being late for work or being caught in traffic. Motorcyclist my brother was always complimenting its performance on lengthy journeys. He even recommended that because of its dependable construction and cozy seats, I use it on weekend excursions. After a few weeks of riding, my mother—who was first dubious about the bike's fuel economy—came to believe it was efficient. I am in love with the bike because of its sophisticated features like the touchscreen console and sporty appearance. It's my everyday friend as much as a mode of transportation.

Perfect for all commuters

My friend bought the new Bajaj Pulsar F250 last month and I also had a ride on his bike. the experience was remarkable with it's super smooth handling and acceleration. it has a 250cc engine which is powerful enough to make every ride enjoyable. the mileage is around 30-35 kmpl which is lower than expected. I didn't one thing which is it's rear suspension as it sometimes lags.
