Recently Asked User Questions

Q. Which one is the best Bajaj Dominar 400, Himalayan, Classic 350 and MT-15 Version 2.0?
  • All the bikes are best in their own forte. The Bajaj Dominar 400 BS6 makes for a great urban motorcycle, as well as packing in the performance and comfort to make occasional touring a breeze. On the other hand, Royal Enfield Himalayan Motor has (nearly) retained its output and feels just as quick, despite meeting BS6. Certain components look and feel more rugged and premium. Truckloads of suspension travel and ground clearance, as always. and Royal Enfield Classic 350 revised ergonomics make it more comfortable. The new chassis makes it easier to ride in traffic. The bike feels a lot more refined now. Moreover, The updates to the Yamaha MT-15 V2 have definitely improved its handling but the lack of dual-channel ABS and bottom-end performance, coupled with the high asking price make it a pricey proposition. For a better understanding, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

Q. Is this bike worth buying?
  • Bajaj Dominar 400 is great pick. Good looks, healthy performance, competent underpinnings and a host of features. All for just Rs 1.92 lakh. If you’re looking for the best bang for your buck, nothing eclipses the Dominar 400 in the sub-2 lakh rupee price bracket. The 373.3cc DOHC liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor has its origins in the KTM 390 Duke’s powerplant. Output figures stand unchanged at 40PS and 35Nm even after being upgraded to BS6-compliance, and the engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch. This being the flagship Bajaj product, it’s held together by sturdy underpinnings consisting of a perimeter frame suspended on a 43mm USD fork and preload-adjustable monoshock. The rear swingarm is a stamped unit. Anchorage is provided by a sizable 320mm/230mm disc brake combo assisted by dual-channel ABS.
  • At its price point. yes. it's worth the cost.

    Power Meets Elegance

I have been riding the Bajaj Dominar 400 for over a year now and it has been quite the powerhouse with a wholesome touring experience. Fitted with a 373.3 cc engine that pushes out 40 PS of power, this bike is built to rule the road. The bike accelerates smoothly with its mated 6 speed gearbox and the slipper clutch is a gift in heavy traffic providing a non tiring ride. One aspect I admire is the twin channel ABS that ensures great stopping power adding a layer of safety to each ride. The digital instrument cluster is crisp and adds to a modern riding experience.

    shine on the streets

The Bajaj Dominar 400 is a popular bike in my colony and i owned it . It claims me a mileage of 27 kmpl which is not that much which my brother expectrd from it . Talking about the safety dual-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is a standard feature. It lacks additional safety features like airbags or traction control that might be found in some bigger bikes . It gives you many options in colours which best suites your style (Vine Black, Aurora Green) .

    Split seats

Best things performance: for a 125cc engine, The pulsar 125 delivers commendable performance. The dts-i engine ensures smooth power delivery, Making it suitable for both city commutes and occasional highway rides.Mileage: the bike is fuel-efficient, Offering an impressive mileage of around 50-55 km/l, Which makes it an economical choice for daily commuting.Build quality: the pulsar 125 boasts robust build quality with a muscular tank and sturdy components that give it a premium feel.Pickup: the bike has a decent pickup, Making it agile in traffic. The acceleration is smooth, And the powerband is quite linear.Features: it comes equipped with features like a semi-digital instrument cluster, Split seats, And led tail lamps, Which add to its sporty appeal.Worst thingsvibrations: one of the noticeable downsides is the vibrations at higher rpms. These can be felt through the handlebars and footpegs, Which might affect the riding experience on longer trips.After-sale servicebajaj’s extensive service network is a significant advantage, But the quality of service can vary. While many service centers are efficient and provide good customer service, There are instances where users have reported unsatisfactory experiences. It's advisable to choose a reputed service center for better service quality.

The Pulsar 125 delivers a claimed mileage of around 50 to 55 kilometers per liter. I experienced its top speed of around 105 to 112 kmph. Slightly high

Pulsar 125 is a commuter segment vehicle, So it's not a performance oriented one.Riding position is good and it's also good for taller guys.Overall weight is little big, But some times the weight is good for stability and handling (it's only included in the times of cornering and build quality matters).I will get 45 kmpl mileage in non traffic straight rode. The top end speed is 113 kmph but if you cover 70 kmph, Vibration level is at the peak and at this time the engine wil produce excess heat and it will irritating your legs (especially right leg).Chain portion is a curse of pulsar bikes so it will also disturbed you in this bike at every 500 kms (loosed chain and sounds from inner sprocket section).Service cost is slightly high in authorized service centers. After sales service is depends on your dealer; i think popular bajaj is gives you better service experience. No extra features like gear position indicator, Usb charging port, Bluetooth connectivity, Abs etc.Abs system replaced by combi system in to this bike.

    satisfactory rides with bajaj pulsar

The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is a popular commuter bike in India, known for its balance of performance, affordability, and stylish design. The Pulsar 125 gets a 124.4cc engine .I claims a mileage of 50 to 55 kmpl . The Pulsar 125 offers a more comfortable riding posture compared to some other commuter bikes in its class. Its split seat variant offers a disc brake on the front wheel for improved braking performance. While the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is not available in any variant which is a major drawback .

My Experience with the Bajaj Pulsar 125

After a year of using the Bajaj Pulsar 125, I am ready to share my thoughts on this popular commuter bike. This model's engine performance with its 124 cc DTS-i engine produces a reasonable 11.8 PS power makes it suitable for daily city rides. The bike is fuel efficient which is a great plus, offering around 50 to 55 km/l, saving me a lot on fuel costs. However, the bike’s light weight while making it movement affects its stability at high speeds or windy conditions.
