Honda's Upcoming 125cc bike spotted testing

Following the launch of the Livo, Honda now seems to be working on a new 125cc offering.

Honda new 125cc bike spotted

Honda has gone all out with its expansion strategy this year. As part of its plan, the Japanese bike maker had announced its plan of bringing in 15 new models in 2015. Some of these 15 models have already been brought in and some more coming in at the Revfest on August 4. While all the motorcycles to be unveiled or launched at the Revfest are expected to be of the spirited kind, Honda’s focus on the commuter class isn’t deterred either.

A 125cc bike from Honda has recently been spotted by our dear friends in the media and this one is expected to be launched later this year. Up front, this new 125cc bike has a bikini fairing that is similar to the one on the larger Unicorn 160 and a tail piece and side panels that are newly designed as well. Keeping in mind that Honda hasn’t yet given the Shine a generation change in a long time, this might just be the upcoming CB Shine.

Needless to say, like all the other offering from the Honda stable, the new 125cc bike will also sport a HET engine. Exact specifications of this bike are still sketchy but it will have 10-spoke star-shaped alloy wheels and will come with a disc brake option up front.

Honda has been very silent about this 125cc offering but when it gets launched, they would want to replicate the kind of success the Shine has achieved.
