Toyota Yaris feels slightly underpowered and the pick up is lethargic. If you're looking for a powerful drive, then Verna is the best choice.

Q. Hello, I wish to purchase an automatic petrol car under a budget of Rs. 11 lakhs. My travelling is mainly in the city (Ahmedabad). I have screened a few cars but very confused which one to choose. My choices are: 1. Tata Nexon Petrol XZA+ (which will be approx Rs. 10.25 lakhs on road) 2. Hyundai Verna Petrol EX AT (which will be approx Rs. 11.50 lakhs on road) 3. Toyota Yaris Petrol J CVT (which will be approx Rs. 11.06 lakhs on road). I test drove the Nexon and Yaris and had planned Verna also in this week. I couldn’t find any difference in the two cars other than that the Yaris is more premium looking and smooth in operation, however it missed out the touch screen in J variant which is essential for me as I am a learner. Further the 15 minutes test drive didn’t tell me anything. Please help in selecting and also request you to mention the reason for buying the car. Waiting for response. Thanks

Q. I was planning to buy Verna, almost booked it. But now since Ciaz is launched, I am confused on which car to buy. Can you suggest which one to buy in terms of safety, features & functionalities, build quality, engine and power? I am focused more on safety aspect and features. I go for the petrol variant by the way.
