Yep, the boys at ZigWheels have spotted the Triumph-Bajaj Roadster once again. But despite already knowing most of its details, we’ve managed to dig out something exclusive for you: the bike comes shod with premium Pirelli Diablo Rosso Sport tyres! We’re happy to report that because this bike promises to offer a performance-oriented experience instead of the laidback experience that Royal Enfield bikes do. The overall riding experience enhances multifold if such a potent engine is paired to grippy tyres.
We already know quite a few things about the Triumph-Bajaj Roadster. The last one gave us an insight about the bike’s headlight, while the test mule that was seen in April showed us its instrument console. We’ve even spotted it with touring accessories, something Triumph could offer as an add-on. Powering it will be a single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, likely displacing around 350cc-400cc. Suspension duties are handled by an inverted fork and a gas-charged monoshock.
With both the Roadster and the Scrambler’s global unveil just over a week away, the hype for these two bikes is real! With their India launch happening shortly after, us Indians thankfully won’t have to wait for long for the bike now. As for the pricing, it could be around Rs 2.25 lakh for the Roadster, and around Rs 2.50 for the Scrambler, ex-showroom.
