After months of anticipation, Triumph has finally launched the Street Triple 765 R and RS in India. With this major overhaul, the naked is now the most powerful bike in its segment and costs Rs 10,17,000 for the R variant, and Rs 11,81,000 for the insane RS variant.
While the iconic design is the same, the updates make it even sharper and more functional. The rake angle is sharpened and the rear is raised, which results in a sportier riding position, though the riding triangle remains the same.

The gorgeous 765cc triple-cylinder engine is now crazier and makes even more power and torque, earning the title for the ‘most powerful bike in its segment’. It makes 130PS at 12000rpm and 80Nm at 9500rpm, which is 7PS and 1Nm more than the previous model. The R, however, makes 120PS and 80Nm, 2PS and 1Nm more than its predecessor. Underpinnings are the same, but how does the bike ride now? Find out here in our review.
Summing up, the Street Triple R is around Rs 1 lakh more expensive than its predecessor, whereas the RS commands a premium of around Rs 50,000. Now with this premium, it makes more sense to get the RS variant, as though the price difference isn't that much, the performance difference is significant.
