Mahindra celebrates 50 lakh vehicle production with human chain

To commemorate its 50 lakh vehicle production milestone Mahindra forms a human chain with 3,000 of its workers
India's leading four-wheeler manufacturer and seller of Utility Vehicles, Mahindra & Mahindra, celebrated the production of its 50 lakh vehicle in style. The Indian automobile major formed a human chain of 3,000 workers from Nariman Point to Girgaon Chowpatty in Mumbai.
Pravin Shah, Chief Executive Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra was driven around in a Mahindra open top SUV to encourage the 3,000 workers who had formed a human chain.
Mahindra has recently launched the new Scorpio in India and is now working on a compact SUV to compete with the likes of Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster.
