Maruti Suzuki Teases the Swift Deca In TV Advert

Maruti Suzuki has just released a TV commercial which teases a special edition Swift with ‘Number 10’ liveries on it. If you remember, the manufacturer had showcased the car at the 2016 Indian Auto Expo early this year. And, now the commercials indicate the imminent launch of this car.

Speaking of the advertisement, it clearly indicates that the Maruti wants to capitalise on the football fan following present in the country. If you google the advert, you can see how the upcoming car will celebrate and honour the players that had donned the number 10 jersey in the past and also the one who do now. A few to name are Pele, Zinedine Zidane, Wayne Rooney, Lionel Messi, etc. The short teaser also flaunts a new electronic key fob, probably indicating that the new car will get the start/stop feature irrespective of the variant.

Aesthetically, the Swift Deca which was showcased at the auto expo had sports stripes on the hood, roof, and tailgate. While the sides had large ‘10’ liveries, it also had front, side and rear skirts and all-black alloy wheels to enhance its sporty appeal.

On the other hand, the car is expected to remain same mechanically, retaining the same set of engines. Up inside, more details will only surface when Maruti launches the car. Price wise, the Deca could see a hike of Rs 30,000 to 40,000 over the standard Swift.
