Yamaha has launched the 2021 MT-25 in Indonesia at RP 55,460,000 (Rs 2.89 lakh). A quarter-litre naked streetfighter offering by the Japanese brand, it was launched in Malaysia last year. It gets updated bodywork similar to the MT-03, which makes the MT-25 aggressive.
The new bodywork includes MT graphics, a new tank cover, and air scoops on either side to direct hot air downwards. The MT-25 comes in three colour options: matte grey, metallic black and metallic blue. All-LED lighting, including LED DRLs and a bi-LED projector beam, is standard. The digital instrument cluster has been updated with a shift light along with larger fonts.

A 250cc parallel-twin motor producing 35.5PS and 23.6Nm powers the MT-25. Suspension duties are performed by an upside-down fork and a monoshock. For stopping, the MT-25 employs disc brakes at both ends.
Chances of the MT-25’s arrival in India appear bleak, as Yamaha will probably be more interested in introducing the MT-03 and the R3 here instead. But since the two are yet to receive their necessary emission updates, their launch is likely only towards the end of 2021.
