  • Q. Is Hero Pleasure good for rural roads?
    Mukund | 1 month ago

I have limited experience of riding on Rural roads on pleasure, but I think all most all the Indian vehicles are designed considering the rural roads. However I would say that it cannot match with motorcycles performance. Small tyre size is a limitation.

The vehicle i am using is nine years old. The suspensions are good enough for the city roads. I believe the suspensions of the new model are improvised. The best way is to take a test ride and decide.

    Zigwheels | 2 days ago

Engine life would depend on several factors like riding conditions, timely maintenance of the scooter, keeping a health check from time to time, etc. Moreover, Hero Motocorp offers a warranty on all scooters for a period of 5 years or 50000 Km, whichever is earlier, from the date of purchase.

  • Q. How is this scooty in the long run?
    Zigwheels | 9 months ago

Hero entered the scooter segment with the Pleasure, a traditional midsize scooter designed for the fairer sex. Over the years, it’s gone through many iterations in terms of colour updates and graphics. Powering the Hero Pleasure is a 102cc single-cylinder engine which develops 7PS of power @ 7000rpm and 8.1Nm of torque @ 5000rpm. Hero claims the Pleasure can achieve a top speed of 77kmph. Suspension duties are handled by a bottom-link front, which is still not updated, and a hydraulic shock absorber at the rear. Braking is done via 130mm drum units at both ends. The Pleasure gets 90/100 tyres at both ends and packs a 5-litre fuel tank, while tipping the scale at 101kg. The steel wheels also got replaced by alloy wheels, now finished in black. Other latest updates include dual tone colours, new body graphics, front storage with a mobile charging socket, Integrated Braking System (IBS), underseat storage boot light and a side-stand indicator. It is easy to handle and ride and offers satisfactory performance. Although its downside is the plastic panels tend to break quickly. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort.
