Hero Xtreme 125r ownership review after

So I bought this bike in October 2025 and now it's January 2025 and I have noticed many ors and cons in1this bike so let's start with pros 1. Looks of the bike 2. Breaking 3. Pickup 3. Handling 4. Abs ( most important) Now I'll mention the cons1of this bike 1. Sitting posture for pillion 2. Built quality 3. Plastic feels 4. Wrong mileage claim by company 5. Problem1in gear shifting So above I have mentioned all the pros and cons which I have faced till now with my bike. So1the main things are looks and in this budget this is the most good looking and sporty bike but it's not1good for pillion as it's pillion seat is not comfortable and also that plastic fram on the sides cause1pain to the pillion while sitting so in short it's not good for family purpose it's a good bike for1youngsters and the main thing which I noticed is the hard gear shifting and at the time of first service at1650km I told this problem to hero service centre executive he told me that this problem will don't come1after first service but I'm facing it now too at 2000k done and the last thing is that company claims1around 50-55kmpl mileage but I don't think my bike is giving more than 45 on highways and 35-40 in1cities.

Hero Xtreme 125r ownership review

So I have bought this bike in October 2025 and now it's January 2026 so it's been 4 months and1I'm using it on regular basis and I have noticed many things like many pros and consSo the pros are 1. Bikes good looks2. Braking and Abs3. Affordable 4. Pickup and engine And the cons are 1. Pillion comfort 2. Hard gear shifting 3. Wrong mileage claim by company 4. Poor built quality So as above I1have mentioned many pros and cons of this bike which I have noticed since a bought this bike and pillion1problem is the major problem and i recommend that this bike is not for family purpose it is for youngsters and1the first service of this bike was done at 650km and at that I told my problem of hard gear shifting to the1hero service centre executive and he told me that this problem will be no more after the first sevice but now1also after 2000km i am facing this problem. And the another main thing was that company has claimed false1mileage like they are claiming 65 but I am hardly getting 50 on highways and 40 in city. But this bike is1crazy as it's full powerful and also it is super affordable and best looking in its segment and also1fastest and safest too in its segment.

Best bike in budget

ThOwning the Hero Xtreme 125R feels like pulling a fast one on the commute because while it looks like a high-performance streetfighter1that should be guzzling fuel, it’s actually a pocket-friendly workhorse that delivers a solid 55–60 kmpl1in real-world city conditions. The pickup is punchy enough to make stop-light sprints fun, hitting 0–60 km/h1in under 6 seconds, which feels plenty quick for filtering through traffic, though the engine does start to1feel its 125cc limits with some vibrations once you push past 85 km/h on the highway. Maintenance is where the Hero1badge really pays off; with five free services to start with, you're looking at a measly ₹500–₹8001per visit for basic oil changes and checkups, and even a major "paid" service rarely crosses the ₹1,500 mark. It’s arguably the best-handling bike in its class thanks to that beefy Showa suspension and the1safety net of single-channel ABS, but the trade-off for all that "big bike" styling is a tiny, high1pillion seat that your passenger might complain about on anything longer than a quick trip to the store.e bike1is

Superb bike

I’ve been riding my Hero Xtreme 125R regularly, and honestly, I’m super impressed with this bike. It gives a perfect balance of power,1mileage, comfort, and sporty looks. First of all, the design is killer. It looks sharp, aggressive, and way1more premium than most bikes in the 125cc segment. People actually turn their heads to look at it. The engine performance is smooth and punchy. In1city traffic, it feels light and easy to handle, and on open roads, it pulls nicely without stress. Gear1shifts are smooth, and there’s very little vibration even at higher speeds. Now coming to the best part —1mileage. I rode my Xtreme around 500 km without any problem at all, and my petrol cost was only ₹1080. That’s seriously impressive and shows how fuel-efficient this bike is.The ride comfort is also great.1Suspension handles bumps well, seat is comfortable for long rides, and braking feels safe and confident.1It’s a perfect bike for daily use plus occasional long rides. Overall:The Hero Xtreme 125R is a stylish, reliable, and fuel-efficient bike. Totally worth the money. I’m 100% satisfied with my purchase.

Bike properly

We rode the xtreme 125r for a brief period and in that time, The only major thing we could judge was the way it handles itself. The bike is extremely capable in the corners and also at some tight turns. This aspect combined with the lighter kerb weight is likely to make the new hero xtreme 125r a fun and easy bike to ride in the city. The 125cc motor offers good torque spread too, And the overall refinement is acceptable. But the biggest impact of this bike is its appearance. The bike will definitely turn heads, And to be honest, It feels as if the xtreme 125r belongs to the 150cc segment. We are hoping to test this bike properly sometime next month, And february is when we’ll be able to tell you if it makes sense to buy the new xtreme 125r.For now, This bike should be considered if you are looking for a stylish 125cc motorcycle in the market.

I have purchased this bike because of its price and comfort, in this price segment it offers a best quality features. The mileage of the bike is not bad not good, as my bike is new so it gives around 45km/L to 50km/L . The seat of the bike is also very soft especially single seat is very good for family, the overall looks and power is also top notch, it has a very refined engine and due to its disk with single channel abs, safety has also not been neglated , it also comes with a kick that is very useful when battery is discharged or self is not working. Over all a solid bike in this segment
