  • Q. I have heard from many people that when it rains little amount of water goes in petrol tank. Is it true - NTORQ?

    NO, the water doesn't gets inside the fuel tank. I know there is a gap between the lid and the brim even after closing the lid, but the lid has a rubber washer which seals the petrol tanks mouth. Now, you must have seen youtube videos that people pour water on the top and water gets inside through the gap, but the truth is water is flown through the sides of the lid and tank and onto the ground and not inside the tank. So, in short, the water doesn't gets inside the tank and flows down from the side of the tank to the ground. Hope this helps!!!

    I have apache rtr 160 4v. I have noticed many time , after rain some amount of water get inside the petrol tank. Actually water stuck with the free space of the mouth of my bike's petrol tank. But I don't know what to do... But I know one thing that after rain or a wash just open the petrol tank mouth carefully

    There is a gap around fuel cap but water cant go inside if you force it to. I drove Ntorq in whole rainy season in mud in bad roads in water streams, it can run in very heavy rain too. This scooter is a Iron Machine.

    The instruement cluster of TVS NTorq 125 is very easy to read and is a comfortable scooter and the mileage is around 42 to 45 kmpl. The touch and feel is very good with the good build quality with good fit and finish and on the highway it performs very well and is a great performer on the high speed.
