    Q. Which bike is better Jawa or RE Thunderbird. As, Jawa is new and not many people have ride it. However, the hipe created for Jawa more and just wanted to check which one is the better option. Jawa has Fuel Injection where as RE Thunderbird has carburetor fuel system. Please suggest which one is better in terms of overall performance. I am confused.
    • That would depend on how you want to use it. The new Jawa is good for cities, it is light weight, agile and has a powerful engine(27 bhp) but it is not very good for long rides. RE on rhe other hand is heavy and is better suited for long rides. It is not as agile as the jawa but can run in thw city with ease once you get used to it. As fat as sound is concerned the jawa is nothing close to RE. Jawa has far less vibrations than the RE. Hope this helps.
    • Jawa is just a hipe nothing more . Visible good bike. We can compare the engine noise & thump it with hero splendor . I have driven it for more than 600 km it did not surprise me. Himalayan or RE Thunderbird.

    Q. Which is better to buy Jawa ABS or 350 Classic ABS?
    • Java ABS and Royal Enfield Classic 350 are two bikes with carrying forward their heritage to the next era. Java is something new to the ground zero as being relaunched after a very long period of time. The Java leaves you impressed by its mechanicals as its appeal. Confidence from the MRF rubber and ABS enabled 280mm Bybre disc at the front allowed me to ride harder still. A sense of agility and involvement dawns on you when you steer the Jawa into corners. As far as the vibrations are considered at high RPMs there was some buzz from the bar and seat, but the overall refinement levels were acceptable. Changes to the gear selector drum and shift-forks have made the shifts precise and positive.Royal Enfield Classic 350 on the other hand, Bullet is powered by the same 346cc, single-cylinder, the air-cooled motor is mated to a 5-speed transmission, and pumps out 20PS of power at 5250rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 4000rpm. Suspension duties are handled by 35mm telescopic front forks and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. The ride quality is amazing as it is a cruiser to rule the highway, the vibrations come to life after the bike hits speed more than the 90 Kmph. At the 80kmph mark, the bike is butter smooth with soothing thump sound. If you are looking for a retro classic motorcycle, there is nothing that comes close to being a proper retro.     • 1. --- 24 years ago i have driven old jawa for thousands of KM . It will thrill me every time i touch the handle bar & pump it to alive the engine. The exhaust thump & interval between the next thump cant say in words. Flick & Kick is a wonderful experience . I used to get mileage around 30 kmpl to 35 kmpl. 2.--- Now to coming new jawa . I went test ride new jawa with imaginations & drove more than 210 km i got mileage of 18 kmpl. Engine is powerful till 110 km/hr then it straining to climb speed with vibrations & becomes too noisy .The exhaust sound is like hero splendor bike. There are lots welding visually seen around new jawa . They recreated visibly old jawa . Visually good bike. I didn't get moved or ringed & impressed while riding. 3.-- I owned old bullet 1996 model i used it as a bicycle go everywhere with it. 4.-- Initially when i test drove RE Classic 350 UCE i was upset with engine thump & Rhythm. But the driving experience impressed gave the same pleasure simply same as my old bullet. So i was convinced and purchased a RE Classic 350 UCE engine model and riding till date. .So that's how the new jawa didn't impress me. I never need a bike for visual pleasure.
