Both the cars are luxurious sedans. The new XE is now wider and sits lower, with sharper, slimmer headlamps and taillamps. On the inside, the India-spec model misses out on the TouchPro dual touchscreen system but gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The gear selector dial is replaced with a SportShift selector. This generation of the XE comes with two engines, the P250 petrol and D180 diesel. They make 247PS and 365Nm, and 180PS and 430Nm respectively. Whereas, Mercedes-Benz is all set to reveal the next-gen C-Class on February 23, 2021. The sedan, codenamed W206, will be powered by four-cylinder engines and will feature an S-Class-like interior layout and a redesigned exterior.
