Being riding thunderbird 500x for last 4 month with 4000km.i am highly satisfied. The longest run on single day is around 780km.my ht is 5.6 and wt 75 kg, and i don't feel any issue handling the thunderbird 500x.only disadvantage i face is to run in city traffic with jam, movering the heavy beast is really tough there, anyway it seems i will be accustomed to it. Else i love to ride the beast

Along with Classic 350 Signals edition, the cult motorcycle maker has updated Classic 500 and Himalayan with ABS. The rest of the portfolio will be updated with ABS phase wise before 1 April 2019. Incidentally, the Indian Government has also enforced the ABS mandate rule for all bikes (newly launched & existing) with engine capacity greater than 125cc from April next year. In April this year, the Government made ABS compulsory for all bikes (125cc and above) that are going to be launched henceforth. • Q. What's your experience and review after riding the bike is it worth or not - Thunderbird 500X?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 11 months ago

The 500X uses the Thunderbird 500’s underpinnings so it rides and handles like any stock Thunderbird would. What has changed is the riding position, thanks to the new handlebar. The more aggressive riding position gets you closer to the action and the new handlebar gives you a better inkling of what the front end is doing than the ape-hangers on the stock Thunderbird. It does make you reach out a bit, which is not too comfortable given that the footpegs still use the relaxed forward-set position. It also brings in a lot more vibrations, which will be uncomfortable on longer rides. Powering the bike with 499cc air-cooled engine makes 27.5PS and 41.3Nm. It is a torquey unit that gets the bike up to speed in a fairly rapid manner but the issue is vibrations exactly at the sweet spot rpm where you end up riding in the city. Do take a test ride in order to judge your riding comfort. • Q. I am so confused on buying Thunderbird 500X. I am 156cm in height and 72kg weight which bike will suit me more Classic 500 or Thunderbird 500x?
    Zigwheels
    Zigwheels | 4 months ago

As you are 156 cm it would be a better choice to have a bike with low saddle height which would help you to get a better grip of the bike. The Royal Enfield Classic 500 has a saddle height of 800mm which is quite high according to your height, you might feel it uncomfortable to control because of taller seat height. The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X, on the other hand, has a saddle height of approximately 775mm which might help you to get a better grip on the road. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride of both the bikes which would help you choose the best bike with a justification.Click here for the Dealership: https://www.zigwheels.com/bikes/dealers/Royal-Enfield

Since you are 5'2" go for avenger cruise 220 ABS. 500X Can be tricky for you to handle. nevertheless take a test ride and get the feel. my suggestion: avenger 220.
