Latest Updates on Scram 440
Royal Enfield has unveiled the Scram 440 at Motoverse 2024. The Scram 440 replaces the Scram 411 and is based upon the same platform.
The Royal Enfield Scram 440 is powered by a 443cc single-cylinder air cooled engine producing 25.4PS at 6,250rpm and 34Nm at 4,000rpm, which is 1.1PS and 2Nm more than the 411cc motor found in the Scram 411. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox unlike the 5-speed one found on the previous iteration. The underpinnings are the same with a telescopic fork and a monoshock along with a 300mm and 240mm disc brake at the front and rear. The bike's dry weight has gone up by 2kg and is now 187kg.
The Scram 440 will be available in two variants: Trail and Force. The Trail variant will get spoke wheels and two colour options: Trail Blue and Trail Green. The Force variant will get alloy wheels and three colour options: Force Blue, Force Grey and Force Teal.
Royal Enfield Scram 440 gets a new LED headlight, a semi-digital instrument console with an analogue speedometer, and a digital inset to show the odometer, trip meters, and fuel gauge. The instrument cluster is similar to the one found in the Hunter 350.

The official price for the Royal Enfield Scram 440 will be announced in the month of January 2025 and we expect it to be priced around Rs 2.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the Scram 440 will go against the Triumph Scrambler 400X and the Yezdi Scrambler.
Royal Enfield Scram 440 is a scrambler and looks quite similar to its predecessor, the Scram 411. Though, it makes marginally more power than before.
