The upcoming new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted with a revised instrument console. The void left by the absence of the analogue fuel-gauge is now filled thanks to the addition of tripper navigation. The digital pod lets users access turn-by-turn navigation when paired with a smartphone. The digital inset, on the other hand, is likely to display gear position, time, Eco mode, trip meter, and odometer readings. The new motorcycle’s styling is similar to the Classic 350 but it is based on Royal Enfield’s new J-platform, which is also used on the upcoming Meteor 350. Another interesting change is that the chain drive is now on the left and the front disc has been moved to the right-hand side. It’s likely to come equipped with a larger 300mm front disc and a 270mm disc at the rear, paired with dual-channel ABS. From the looks of it, its suspension setup seems to be the same as the Meteor: a 41mm telescopic fork and twin shocks at the rear. For complete details, we would suggest you to stay tuned for the updates. Read more: 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350 To Come With Tripper Navigation].

  • Riding the Classic

After many months of pondering, I finally decided to go for the Royal Enfield Classic 350. Its timeless design and robust engine were major selling points for me. Powered by a 349cc air oil cooled single cylinder engine, the bike produces about 20 bhp and 27 Nm of torque which, while adequate for most rides does feel a bit underpowered on highways.Over the past few months, the ride comfort has been truly commendable specially on urban roads. The seat is plush and the ride is exceptionally smooth makes it a pleasure on longer rides.
