  • If you like the looks of Duke 390 but do not want so much power in bike, you can go for Duke 250.Duke 250 is significantly pricier than 200 but comes with certain advantages like the impressive design similar to 390, dual channel ABS, a balanced engine which makes it an all-rounder whether you ride within the city or on highways.Duke 200 has its own attractive design, a powerful engine and price advantage.
  • If u dont care about latest styling go for duke 200. If u want latest styling go for Duke 250. Mileage is almost same. Duke 250 cost ~35 k more.Duke 200 has single channel ABS rear wheel can lock on hard braking. Duke 250 has dual channel ABS so no worries of wheel getting locked on hard braking. Duke 250 is heavier in weight. I bought Duke 250.

Q. Which is better Duke 250 & Ktm rc 200?
  • The RC 200 has set the bar quite high for the entry-level sports bike segment. The committed ergonomics might not be everyone’s cup of tea but if you are looking for cornering dynamics with an added dose of power but are on a budget, your search ends here. Whereas, KTM 200 Duke has been the benchmark bike of its segment and still remains so. If you’re looking for a bike that offers great acceleration, loves to corner and has a hooligan nature, the 200 Duke is the bike for you and a great option for someone entering the world of performance bikes. The only grouse we have with the KTM 200 Duke is its super stiff ride quality and the fact that ABS isn’t offered even as an option.
  • Bro the answer to your question is two foldIf you want superb style with committed race ergonomics go for the rc but remember that a pillion on the rc is not too comfortable so if like me u take girls or as in my case a girlfriend on your bike daily the duke 250 is perfect for you as it has both an awesome design as well as comfortable ergonomics which girls do not complain a lot about .So long story short if u have an girlfriend go for the duke 250 trust me u will thank me later or if you are into racing and supermoto style definitely go for the rc 200 also the cooling is far better on the duke 250than on the rc 200 Good luck with your bike ride safe and wear a helmet
  • Ever since its debut, the KTM 200 Duke has been the benchmark bike of its segment and still remains so. On the other hand, the 2017 KTM 250 Duke is for someone who finds the new 390 Duke too expensive. It gets modern styling, powerful motor and top-spec cycle parts but the lack of ABS even as an option is disappointing.

Q. Is this bike worth to buy? Please help me to know any pros. and cons. about this bike or any other bike in this segment. - FZ 25?
  • Bro. I've owned this bike for around 2 years now. The bike is great and everything. Its good a good and peppy engine. Great milage considering the power it has. Extremely comfortable seats. The main downside i came across was the weak headlight unit. You could very well get an aftermarket LED fitted on it or go for fog lamps. 6th gear is a problem only when the bike is pushed hard. In normal city driving and highway runs you won't need a 6th gear. The service and maintenance cost of the bike is very less as with all Yamaha bikes. Also it is ultra reliable and won't need too many services
  • Hello. The 2019 model gets dual channel Abs.
  • Pros- Good pickup, Nice accelerating, Good for both city and highway driving. mileage in best with 250 cc segment and it's almost low budget bike in 250 cc also. service center available everywhere cons- Air cooled Bike, little problem in engine hitting specially on long drive and on summer season. Old and 1st model don't have ABS that's a badluck. silencer got rusted with more heat power from engine and even after repeated paint by the showroom still its again looks like iron parts. but still overall it's amazing bike
