JLR are automotive excellence when it comes to design, technology and innovation. TATA is a car fanatic, who have set big goals for themselves and probably JLR needed just that, then just money to bounce back and now the results are showing. Hopefully the journey gets even merrier. | Reply

@ pankaj, Man i would suggest better learn a thing or two about the automotive industry and then start commenting...... maybe you are not aware about where does Land rover stand when its compared to volovo or ford and the same about Jaguar..... these two are the most prestigious names in the business and volvo and ford come nowhere close....... | Reply

yeh , there was great review on bloomberg and other intl media, they had commented that the recent new upgraded and new models r superb and they even had a dig at Honda CRV, they said " it is a mimick of SUV but a car only." and ridiculed it. And here in india people they r selling as an SUV and a lootin , exorbitant price of 22-24 lacs | Reply

I think Pankaj doesn't read articles!!!! If he read the articles of Land Rover and Jaguar..he would get an indepth understanding of just what TATA is up to with these two brands.....guys don't insult him...he's just too uneducated to read...but only wants to pass of his 'wise' judgement on Tata.....seriously dude...READ BEFORE YOU COMMENT else you come across as rather dumb..... | Reply

It is a shame that company like TATA would go and buy a company whose product no one wants to buy. Biggest reason is company like TATA's is probably loaded with old directors who still think British products are the best. Well the sun has set on that a long time back. It would have made a great sense to get Volvo from Ford instead of these old clunkers. With Volvo, Tata;s would have gotten themselves a very good car company with a great name in safety and inovations. Well now China's got it. Here we have a shining India, we dont need Swedish technology. | Reply

@Pankaj, No man, you are a little wrong on that conclusion. Just read a review for Jaguar XF and how it compares to BMW's and Audi's etc. You will see every reviewer saying that the drive pleasure is greater in Jaguar and for the aescethetics of the interiors, its a pure delight ;-) | Reply

Some stupids like this pankaj ..can only write such comments...pankaj do u know anything about automobile | Reply

@ sandy...very well said.@ pankaj... The people who took the decision to buy JLR are far more qualified than wat u r and wat u can even think of. So better look for urself before making these idiotic comments. The growing sales of JLR products says the rest.
