TATA is a car fanatic, who have set big goals for themselves and probably JLR needed just that, then just money to bounce back and now the results are showing. Biggest reason is company like TATA's is probably loaded with old directors who still think British products are the best. Well the sun has set on that a long time back. It would have made a great sense to get Volvo from Ford instead of these old clunkers. With Volvo, Tata;s would have gotten themselves a very good car company with a great name in safety and inovations. Well now China's got it.
