Maruti Brezza Latest Updates

The Maruti Brezza is part of the 17,362 units announced for a recall. An issue is suspected in the airbag controller of these vehicles, which if faulty, might not deploy the airbags and seat belt pretensioners in the case of an accident. Brezza’s units manufactured between December 08 and January 12 are the ones affected. Maruti’s authorised service centres will connect with the owners of the affected vehicles and inspect and replace the defective part for no cost. Until then, owners of the affected vehicles are advised not to drive their cars.

Maruti Brezza Engine

Maruti offers the new-gen Brezza with the updated 103PS 1.5-litre petrol engine which can be paired to a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is the same power unit as seen on the facelifted Ertiga and XL6. The sub-4m SUV will soon get a CNG option as well. It has a boot space of 328 litres.

Maruti Brezza Variants

The 2022 Maruti Brezza can be had in four trims: LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+.

It gets six shade options: Pearl Arctic White, Splendid Silver, Magma Grey, Sizzling Red, Exuberant Blue, and Brave Khaki.The top spec ZXi and ZXi+ trims are also available in dual tone options: Red and silver with black roof, and khaki shade with a white roof.

Maruti Brezza Features

Features like wireless phone charging, paddle shifters (AT variants), electric sunroof, head-up display, ambient lighting, and a 360-degree camera are the new additions in the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza. The 9-inch infotainment system from the Baleno is offered in the higher trims. It also gets turn-by-turn navigation for the heads-up display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Its safety features comprises up to six airbags and an electronic stability program.
