- Looks curvy and powerful. Lots of variants to choose from and proper automatics too. Like the Seltos the interiors don't disappoint. New update brings four airbags and TPMS as standard. Six airbags are now available on more models too. Some premium features and transmissions have also trickled down to lower variants.
Maruti Brezza
- Boxy upright design gets a modern and premium makeover. Slick and well-thought-out features are useful and pleasing to use. More safety features like six airbags and ESC are standard. Spacious cabin and confident on-road behaviour make it a great all-rounder for the family.
Kia Sonet
- Not enough width for three adults. No cooled glove box or adjustable front arm rest.
Maruti Brezza
- Some dashboard plastics look tacky and dampen the cabin’s premium quotient. No headrest for the middle occupant in second row. The price for higher variants makes the Brezza quite expensive.

Q. Sonet petrol AT Vs DCT, please advise which one more effective in terms of performance and hassalfree?
- Traditional Automatic Transmission(AT), also known as a torque-converter, this automatic transmission is one of the most common types of gearboxes that can be found on budget as well as expensive luxury cars. Instead of a clutch this gearbox uses a torque converter to spool up the power and it also has smooth and relatively quick gearshifts. The application for this gearbox is quite widespread. On the other hand, A dual-clutch transmission(DCT) uses two separate shafts with their own clutches for gear shifts: one shaft for odd-numbered gears and the other for even-numbered gears. This type of automatic transmission is purely a performance-oriented transmission that also delivers good fuel efficiency but comes at a penalty of higher manufacturing cost. If a problem arises they are also expensive to maintain. In case of Sonet, DCT is available with a turbocharged petrol engine and AT is available with a naturally aspirated Diesel Engine. The Sonet’s 7-speed DCT doesn’t particularly shine. It simply gets the job done. You’d be underwhelmed if you compared it to say Volkswagen’s DSG. That said, you would appreciate that the shifts are super smooth, and it’s rare that the gearbox gets confused or selects the wrong gear. You get a manual mode in case you want sprightlier acceleration, but there are no paddle shifters on offer. If your daily car usage is less and want a fun to drive car, you may go for Sonet DCT. The Sonet is currently the only vehicle to offer a proper torque converter paired with a diesel motor in a segment that offers just AMTs. As a bonus, you also get the Seltos’ engine tune with an additional 15PS of power and 10Nm. This drivetrain is best appreciated on long highway trips, where you’d want to cover over 500km a day. The smooth (but slightly slow) shifts from the automatic will keep fatigue at bay, while the diesel engine will ensure the wallet is happy by being frugal. - I too was in the same dilemma - I was confused between top variants of Sonet and Nexon and mid variants of Creta which are all similarly priced (budget of 15-16 lakhs). Nexon has the best suspension and ride quality over bad roads, Sonet has the most features, Creta is bigger and more SUV like. So which one to choose? - Guys, Just go for NEXON. It was awesome car with 3 drive modes. If you are looking for mileage s**t to ECO mode, if you want performance shift to SPORTS mode. Its serves both the purposes. Its our wish. Coming to Comfort, Safety, Build Quality NEXON is par better in its segment. Looks wise 2020 Facelift is having definitely a good look. Yes it is possible.I bought a kia sonet htx petrol engine car recently and these were the questions i had as well.As the difference amount between htx and htx+ version is 2.3 lakhs i felt it's waste to spend extra money, Instead i can upgrade the htx externally after buying and it worked out well for me.I added the below add ons to my htx car 1.2 air purifiers2.Alloy wheels3.Amplified sound system4.Lightingit costed me around 90k basically i saved 1.5 lakh with extra interest charges on the financial optionshope it was helpful.Thank you.

Canceled Venue SX petrol and waited for this and it was worth it. I got HTX diesel at the same ex-showroom price with all the additional features and latest interior & exterior. Engine 5/5Comfort, 5/5Space, 4/5 (4 persons in my family) Interior 5/5 (as per other options in the segment), Overall rating 4.9/5. The only downside is steel wheel caps not looking so great. We will change soon. The showroom guys won't allow for self-insurance/zero bargaining/long waiting if not pre-booked. Hopefully, I pre-booked the first day itself.

A compact suv with all features of a larger suv.Value for money.There is a difference of 1.5 lakhs when compared with nexon top end.But with 7 spped dct gear box, 10.25 touch screen, Ventilated seats, Bose systems, Front parking sensors and 6 air bags the difference in amount is justified completely.These features you cant experience in any of the same segment cars.Stylish looks and finishing gives a brand look to the car.City mileage is around 12 to 13high way mileage i am getting 17.
