  • Best bike for city commute.Lightweight (142kgs) makes handling very easy.Smooth refined engine trademark honda. This looks like a beast and is easily one of the best looking bikes in the parking lot.110/70 & 140/70 tyres looks awesome and gives really good balance and stability.Brakes are really good, You can almost completely depend on the front brakes.Mileage of 40 around.Smooth gear shifts. And excellent torquelow and mid range performance is best in the class. You tend to feel the absence of a 6th gear but that's ok unless you are buying this bike to race on a daily basis.Initial issues described here like engine heating and noise from rear brakes (just clean the disk) and all are eliminated after 1st service. Some bikes may tend to have a lockset issue, Which again resolves in a month or so on its own or then a new lockset can be installed.I would definitely recommend for a smooth makkhan experience and a pleasurable riding.

  • I face a very big issue in my rear disc.Which is not like disc brake the drum break is even more good than this disc.It is a worst rear disc brake i have used. And also it creates a creeping noise in the rear disc.

  • Overall gud and excellent bike in riding and touring and racing and enjoying overall gud and excellent bike in riding and touring and racing and enjoying

  • Best city bike.Easy to handling.Very good looking reliable honda engine.Mileage more than 55 km per liter.

  • Good quality, Refinery engine, Good looking, Comfortable ride, Good quality sound, Double abs, Bs6, Cheep rate.

Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Hornet 2.0

Q. In Hornet 2.0, what is the economic speed range to get better mileage?
  • In order to get better fuel efficiency returns from your bike, there are some points that you can keep in mind while riding such as keeping a check on tyre air pressure, timely service your bike, maintain proper gear to RPM ratio, do not accelerate the bike unnecessarily, ride your bike at economical speeds between 50- 60 kmph, etc.
  • You could go up-to 72kmph, it is recommended to maintain speed range between 55-62kmph for better economy provided you are maintaining good gear/rom ratio.
Q. Hornet 2.0 or FS-FI V3?
  • Selecting between the Honda Hornet 2.0 and Yamaha FZS-FI V3 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, prefernce of the segmet, features required, etc. If you are looking for a bike in the 150cc segment with a smooth engine, comfortable ergonomics and good fuel efficiency then the FZS-FI v3.0 wuold be a better pick. Whereas, if you are looking for a bike from a segment above with a bigger engine and more modern elements the you may opt for the Hornet 2.0. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
Q. Is Hornet 2.0 worthy to buy at 1.5lakhs? Hornet has no dedicated cooling, is there any engine heat issue and how is it's performance?
  • The Honda Hornet 2.0 could prove to be an ideal choice if you are looking for a bike with a frugal engine, comfortable ride quality, and light handling. The Hornet 2.0 is powered by a 184cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that puts out 17.27PS at 8,500rpm and 16.1Nm at 6,000rpm. Honda claims it has a healthy mid-range performance. However, for that premium price, it should feel premium, and it doesn’t do that enough. Neither in terms of build quality nor features. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
