Recently Asked User Questions
- Honda Shine comes with better fuel efficiency and a refined engine. The BS6 Shine gets an ACG starter motor, which offers extremely silent, almost noiseless starts and a start/stop switch. Powering the Honda is a 125cc fuel-injected motor that makes 10.7PS of power and 11Nm of torque mated to a new 5-speed transmission. However, The Pulsar 125 does make a lot of sense for a novice rider looking for a motorcycle with a bit of oomph without having to forego one’s entire life savings. It is the most affordable Pulsar on sale right now. And TVS has gone the smarter route, keeping a thrilling ride experience as the USP, instead of a purely commuter-centric approach. Nevertheless, the TVS Raider seems like a solid product and a worthy (and stylish) alternative to the umpteenth Honda Shine. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- As of now, there is no official update from the brand's end regarding the mileage of Honda Unicorn and Honda Shine. So, we would request you to wait for an official announcement.
- About honda unicorn newly bought bike will give upto 60 kmpl at a constant speed of upto 70 kmph in highway and 45 kmpl in city conditions
- Selecting between the Hero Splendor Plus and Honda Shine would depend on several factors such as your budget preference on the segment, features required, engine options, brand preference, etc. The Splendor is one of the most iconic motorcycles in India and also one of the best-selling. It has proved itself as a dependable workhorse and is backed by a massive sales and service network. However, it remains to be seen whether the Splendor Plus BS6’s sales success will survive the sizable price hike. Hero Splendor Plus is powered by a 97.2 cc engine that generates a max power of 8.02 PS @8000 rpm and a max torque of8.05 Nm @ 6000 rpm. On the other hand, the Honda Shine makes for an excellent proposition after the BS6 update. It offers a ton of features, a frugal engine with a 5-speed transmission and ACG starter motor which makes life much simpler. If you want a refined and a bit more powerful engine with a better feature list, you may go for Honda Shine. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and compatibility. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership.

Pulsar N160Bajaj Pulsar N160: Sporty Yet Comfortable
Having owned the Bajaj Pulsar N160 for over six months now, I find it to be a noteworthy upgrade from its previous models. Powered by a 160cc engine which churns out 15 PS of power and 14 Nm of torque, it packs a good punch for spirited rides. The mileage is reasonably good too, managing about 45 kmpl in mixed driving conditions. The bike's sporty aesthetics are a head turner and I appreciate the added features like the single channel ABS which enhances safety. The ride quality is smooth thanks to its well tuned suspension that handles bumps and potholes gracefully.

ShineVery smooth ride quality
The Honda Shine is a popular 125cc motorcycle in India known for its reliability, fuel efficiency, and comfortable ride. I expect that it is around 60-65 kilometers per liter. It's got a classic and stylish design with a chrome headlight and sleek body. It offers comfortable riding position with an upright seating posture and well-cushioned seat for rider and pillion. Its 125cc BS6 compliant engine that offers good performance and fuel economy. It lacks in the ABS technology which is a concern topic

ShineEngine sound
It's engine sound and capability is outstanding but the features it offers is not as much great as compared to its competitors, Honda is not trying to introduce something new things like new instrument digital clustor and many more new design it seems to be the best bike in its category where it losses is the features, Designs and it's powered capacity.I don't have any doubt on regarding it's engine and even i do not used its kick since 6 years of buying it.Incredible bike, No comparison but lacks over its features mainly the instrument clustor.

ShineTimeless Appeal
Honda Shine has always been the best choice for commuter. The motorcycle boasts a modified 125cc unit that provides great fuel economy and a smooth power delivery. The flashy look, coupled with the slender fuel tank and chrome adornments, will be adding sophistication to your vehicle. It has excellent ergonomics and great handling, making it excellent not only for city commuting but also long travels. Nevertheless, the lack of the latest accessory like LED luminaries can be a source of concern. All in all, the Shine goes well with its good reliability and continuous popularity.

ShineEfficient but Needs improvements
Having ridden the Honda Shine for over nine months, i have come to appreciate its simplicity and efficiency. The bike’s 124cc engine outputs 10 bhp which is sufficient for both city rides and occasional longer journeys. What impresses most is the fuel efficiency, as I regularly achieve around 55 to 60 km/l, making it very economical for daily commuting.
