Unicorn 160 a good mid range bike with 160cc engine.I really like the honda engine sound. Its very smooth other than bajaj and tvs.Bike look stylish and classy both at the same time mileage is also good.(approx 40-45km/l)seat is long enough. And information panel is also advanced.

Long rides

2.6

The bike is comfortable enough for City rides & Daily Commutes. I have also gone to the long rides up to 450 KM in a day. But still, this is one of the most pathetic bikes that I have ever driven. I am not really satisfied with this model of Honda Unicorn, cause other than the seating comfort this bike has no other positive attributes. It only has a bunch of drawbacks. If I make a list of drawbacks that I have experienced, it will literally never end. Just trying to shortlist a few of them which will give you a clear idea about the negative points of this bike.1. The headlamp of the vehicle is not powerful enough for night driving on highways.2. The default battery is not capable to handle the additional lights.3. The bike is not sturdy and it has a body vibration when you ride it above 70-80 KMPH speed on highways.4. Disc brake's life is as short as just 12-13 K Kilometers. Had to change it at 12,500 KMs and again at 25,000 KMs.5. Spare parts are very costly.6. In less than 2 years (19,000 Kilometers) the engine has started making horrible Tappet Noice which is not being resolved.7. In recent days I have taken the mileage worth 45 but soon after 20,000 Kilometers the bike's average has fallen below 35 and it's not even generating enough power in stiff roads like ghat sections.Note:I have always made the bike service at the Authorised Dealers.I don't recommend this bike if you love to go on long rides.

Pathetic Honda Unicorn 160cc BS4 model,

1.4

I own a honda unicorn 160cc, Bs4 model. The vehicle was first registered on october 2015.I'm the second owner of the bike (purchase july 2022).Immediately after purchasing the bike, I did some massive repairs and servicing which cost me rs.7000.To date, I never got good mileage on this vehicle. The mileage is always around 22 or 24.I always ride solo and never get stuck in traffic.I bought this bike after reading that honda unicorn is one of the most reliable machines.I did a second full servicing in just 1500 km and still, The mileage is 22.I think honda in the year 2016 planned to dupe thousands of customers by launching such a pathetic bike.I showed it 2 to 3 mechanics and nobody seems to have a clue about the low mileage.I have a petrol lock in place so please don't assume that someone steals petrol and i am unaware of it.I think the first generation unicorn 150cc were reliable bikes. The bs4 version of 160cc sucks and it sucks big time.I truly regret my decision of purchasing this scrap.I am posting this review so that no other user gets lured to buying a 160cc bs4 honda unicorn again. These sick bikes should go to the scrap yard. That's the only place.Slow claps honda for launching such a pathetic machine in 2016 for duping thousands of customers of their hard earned money.

Honda CB Unicorn is one of the best bike in segment. Ideally it should give an average of 50+ km/l in standard condition. I'm really sad for you as you are not getting expected performance and average. There r multiple factors affects the performance of bike. If you are near by Pune Or PCMC area... I would suggest you to visit Jogeswari Auto - Sharad +919****659 and get bike thorough check.

Comfortable journey

I switched from passion to unicorn, And the change in pick up that i felt was amazing.I mostly use my bike to travel within the city.Considering the traffic conditions in mumbai, The bike still goes up to 90kmph, And stops safely(not speeding much in the monsoons) quite satisfied with the build. We can get a couple of more features now like the digital speedometer. It's a solid build, And will last longer with proper maintenance.Mileage can be a better.I get on an average a 35-40 on highways and 30-35 in city.If you understand your requirement and travel goal, Honda unicorn is the perfect city bike which is a mix of style Comfort and performance.

Electric start

3.0

mileage and comfort is up to the mark as usual. But it has immense problem in electric start and gear shifting.Kick start also not works smoothly.New version of unicorn model is bad with respect to its previous model.Engine start problem is very common problem. In the sense comfort and riding controll it is well and good, But engine problem may gives you discomfort in every ride.
