Have you faced any problems in the engine of honda unicorn 160??

Kick start and the gear shifting are the major issues, the difficult task in this model is starting using the Kick rod, in the rare condition I success to make it start in two or three trails. If the bike behaves like this initial stage, what could we expect after few years usage? As well as the smooth moment is missing with the BS6 model compared to the previous version.

Kick starter is worst and its not working even after multiple tries. Required to put more pressure and even it's horrible to start. Didn't expected from Honda.Bs5 engine bike will start with single smooth kick itself. Bs6 worst

Rev increases to 3000 initially because of the fuel injector because every thing will be powered by battery, so its need to get charged initially and also it is to get warmed up the engine from the cold start, also it performs the initial check of injector, and rev decrease after 1.5 minutes in a gradual manner.

Yes last week I have brought unicorn bs6. I have faced kicker start issue. I have kicked minimum 5 to 10 times than only it start.Engine rpm suddenly jumped to 3000rpm at initially for 1.30 min

I bought in Aug 2022 - I had great respect for the bike but it did not live up 1. Engine heats up crazy - service team says it’s normal 😇 2. Kicker is crazy - I don’t know why Honda is so sadistic in making life hard that too in the morning - not easy to kick and bike does not start in one kick 😇

Yes even i am facing the same my bike doesnot gets started on self, and at some times it suddenly switches off and i have to all sorts of stuffs to get it started, really hectic and downshifting of gears are not so smooth. Worst bs4 was way better

Yes ... It's a failure engine.. initial pick up problem & engine noise comparing to bs4 bs6 designing is very bad... I suggest to don't buy this bad vehicle

I bought this bike on aug 2020 till now I have faced problems such as engine break down (3 times)and battery problems,wiring issues ,gasket problems , over heating and jerking.It is a failure model don't go for it.

Every time honda unicorn needs to warm up its engine before you start riding. For instance if you stop the vehicle for half an hour after 15 minutes of ride then you need to warm up its engine again before riding.
