There’s also an Eco Assist prompt next to the speedometer, which illuminates as per the riding style. Another notable feature is the LED headlight, which is standard across all variants. The scooter also comes with the Suzuki Easy Start System, which is a single-touch starter button. For added practicality, there’s an apron-mounted cubby hole that is capable of holding a half-litre water bottle, and there’s an optional USB charger right next to it. The Ride Connect Edition comes with Bluetooth connectivity, providing turn-by-turn navigation, Call alerts with Caller ID, SMS/WhatsApp alerts, along with phone battery level. Suzuki Access 125 Engine : Access 125 is put to work by a 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, which works in conjunction with a CVT (continuously variable transmission). It churns out 8.7PS and 10Nm, and the motor draws fuel from a 5-litre petrol tank.

Manages to put out the same power as before despite being BS6 compliant, Still one of the most refined scooters in India, Superb ride quality -- soaks up bumps really well.
-
Access 125 Disadvantages
External fuel-filler cap isn’t exactly convenient. It still requires you to get off the scooter to unlock it, Brakes are not as sharp as some of its competition, The design is starting to feel dated.
-
Expert's Conclusion
The Suzuki Access 125 BS6 has all the crucial updates to help it continue its streak of being the best-selling scooter in the 125cc segment. Sure it does have its own set of shortcomings but as an overall package, the Suzuki Access 125 BS6 is capable of holding its own in the competitive segment.
Suzuki Access 125 Expert Review
The Suzuki Access 125 is by far the best-selling 125cc scooter in India. Its mixture of tasteful styling, peppy engine and comfortable ride quality make it a favourite for people looking for a family scooter. We find out whether it is still able to deliver on that promise with other manufacturers having brought out their own versions of a family scooter to try and get a slice of the action?
Design
The Suzuki Access 125’s design hasn’t changed much over the past few years and that is okay because with that elegant looking front apron, curved side panels and the bold tail section, it looks quite stylish as a family scooter. It also gets some nice retro touches across the body, like the chrome surround for the headlight. The Special Edition and Ride Connect Edition variants get some premium dual-tone colour schemes that make the scooter stand out amongst its rivals.
Engine, Performance and Mileage:
The Access 125 is fairly quick for a family scooter and with its brisk acceleration, gets off the line quickly and reaches city speeds very quickly. Passing slow moving vehicles is easy because it has plenty of power available across the rev range.

Also, the engine performs in a smooth manner and as a result, you don’t feel any vibrations most of the time. You only start feeling vibrations through the floorboard when you go faster than 90-95 km/h. The fueling is accurate, and there is no jerkiness while throttling. Regarding mileage, the Access 125 produced 52.45kmpl in the city and 57.22kmpl on the highway in our real-world tests, which is impressive.
Ride & Handling
Because of the telescopic fork and the 12-inch wheels at the front, the Suzuki Access 125 gives confidence to the rider with its handling characteristics. It remains stable while going fast around corners and is nimble enough to move through city traffic with ease. This also lets you ride the scooter in a sporty and enthusiastic manner.
But in terms of braking, the Access 125 struggles a bit to deliver though. The brake lever doesn't provide much feedback and a better bite from the brakes would have been appreciated. This means the scooter takes a long time to stop completely.
Comfort:
The Access 125 rides smoothly over bumps on the road. You hardly feel slow speed bumps, and the scooter stays stable even when going over them at higher speeds. The suspension still works well even with two large riders, keeping the ride quality comfortable. The seat is solid, big, and spacious, and there's enough room for the passenger too. It has a big grab handle, which passengers will find easy to hold onto.
Features:
The Suzuki Access 125 gets an LED headlight. It is bright, intense and has a good throw. The scooter gets an analogue speedometer with a digital inset and an Eco-Assist indicator in the Standard and Special Edition variants. In the Ride Connect, the scooter comes equipped with an LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity for phone and SMS alerts, phone battery level status and turn-by-turn navigation. This makes the Access 125 quite a feature-rich family scooter.
In terms of practicality, the Access 125 has got it covered. It has a USB charging port with a small but useful apron-mounted storage compartment next to it. The dual luggage hooks are pretty convenient and the same goes for the 21.8 litre underseat storage space. It also gets an external fuel filler cap which means that you don’t have to open up the seat to refuel.
Should You Buy The Suzuki Access 125?
At its price range, the Suzuki Access 125 is an attractive option for someone looking for a feature-rich family scooter that has good performance and handling characteristics and offers really good mileage figures. Whether it be for office commutes, going out with the family or just a spirited ride around the city, the Suzuki Access 125 can handle everything with ease.
